Special ops? Special needs? In the dark, no one can tell the difference
This thing looks really goofy. There is not a man on earth that could look badass wearing one of these. It performs its function perfectly though, and for a single tube setup I have found no need for a counterweight. Fitment is just fine for my Scandinavian-shaped head.

The straps are for an infants head lol not a man
The chin strap is literally for someone that has “ no chin” or the smallest of faces. The rear straps are ok but the front can only extend so far. If your like me and had to extend the front straps to the max, the chin strap cup starts to veer to the side it’s attached to the cap, so even if you adjust it how you like it, the chin strap cup will no longer be centered. A fix for this is to just cut the rubbery chin strap part off and just put the single strap under your chin. If you have a long face, this will definitely be the worst purchase you make. I consider myself having a big head but can manage smaller sizes but the chin strap I can only wear for like 30 min at a time, it’s tight. I might lengthen them since the cap is ok. Quality seems to be there, but they should make the straps long and let the user adjust the fit from there, it looks like Crye half thought out this design only using one model smh

Great for intended purpose
I really like the cap because I don't have to lug a helmet around for camping etc. Fits in a pocket and it beats walking around holding a PVS14 up to your eye. It does exactly what I wanted it for.

Crye Quality Kit
Saw a few people that struggled with fit. Very adjustable in my opinion. Takes a minute to work your way through the adjustments as each affects the others, but once you dial it in, this cap provides excellent support for my PVS-14. Surprisingly comfortable and distributes the weight well. Crye really never disappoints, this is no exception. If task doesn’t require ballistic protection, this cap is a solid option.

Skullcap
Order one size up. The skull cap fits but the straps are put in it weird so it’s hard to get it set and hold with anything more than a monocle on it. Using the Wilcox g24 mount if it helps. Pvs14 mono and BNVD31s bino.
