My 5 year old really loves the versa rules and the bob books are easy to read for him and progressively add more reading concepts. Love this for an addition to our homeschool days

Absolute best purchase; my little one (5yrs) has been right on the cusp of reading for a bit of time. My son has Autism and he was reading within a few days of purchasing this years ago. My middle child was reading at the age of three. So the same day my package arrived we immediately started and she is already sounding out words and reading the books with ease. These Bob books are heaven sent. Just a few min. per day does wonders.

English is our second language my son knows the sound and name so the first pages he went by fast. Self correcting and gives confident to the kid as they learn

My daughter is 4 and we wanted to get a start on reading before pre-k. We are currently "Staying at home" and I didn't want her to be unprepared this fall. They are easy to follow books and introduce new sounds in each one. The versa-tiles are a great tool and require some additional brain work. My only tiny complaint would be that the books are very flimsy, so I don't know how well they will hold up. However, hopefully she will move on with her reading skills and won't need them that long!

My 4 year old loves this! The puzzle part is so fun for her. After day 2 she is already remembering and can read the pages 😭 so excited for finding something learning she enjoys. As learning at home has been hard for her since I’m not a “teacher” she does t like to do work for me. This is more fun and she loves puzzles. She can’t wait to flip it over and see if she is right!

The bob books are so incredibly simply illustrated and written, it makes me a little ashamed to not just write our own books. My five year old is getting through these, they are just the right stuff for beginning readers. No other beginner books I’ve found, have been simple enough to actually encouraging the very first reading ventures. The little game is a little oddly made, but both my kids have enjoyed using it. The books are where the real value lie, though.

I have used bob books in past years with my older kids. This is such a game changer! My 4.5 year old loves doing the tile book. He can even do it alone and check his work by checking the tile pattern. Such a great addition to our tools for learning at home.

From a teacher's point of view, I LOVE these books! I've been helping my nieces learn to read using Bob's Books for several months, and we've already finished most of them. My only regret is that there aren't more fiction titles to continue even further into the 2nd grade and onward. If they produced them, I'd buy them all!
