I love gear that has more than one use. We just got back from a 5 day section hike of the AT and I brought this along. My intention was to use as a footprint for my tent. I had checked the measurements and it would fit perfectly for that. As it turns out a few nights I did not need it as we stayed in the shelters. So I used this as a sheet wrapped around my pad. It kept the cold from the ground off it and seemed to help retain my body heat. I can think of several possible uses for this and highly recommend. It will hold up for all of those use’s including the one it was intended for.

Loved this as a cheaper option for a footprint. This was the perfect size and worked great!

It's definitely better than a tarp if you're a boy scouts father and you see him carrying around the blue tarp and it's too big this is way more condensed smaller and easily more travel friendly.

Haven’t used yet so can’t vouch for waterproofing but am optimistic. Lightweight, compact and nice color. I’m pleased with purchase.

Used it for multi day hiking trip in Hawaii during the rainy season and worked perfectly fine. It rained every day but this tarp helped in keeping our tent dry. The material is definitely waterproof and it’s light so it easily fits anywhere and doesn’t add much weight. On the flip side, I can see it ripping much easier than a thicker, heavy duty tarp. Overall, I recommend this product but be careful when placing it over the ground to avoid anything sharp that could rip it.

Leaps and bounds above a standard blue grommeted tarp. This size I found is perfect for covering my motorcycle while traveling. Packs small dries quick great value.
