I really like this night light. Especially for midnight trips to the bathroom. Bright enough to see what you are doing and not wake you up. I do like having the 3 different levels of brightness. All perfect for the middle of the night. Ease to use. Buttons to adjust is easy to find. More sleek than the older style nightlight

Many products claim to be a “safe” nightlight, but exceedingly few actually are. Studies show that very low levels of light (as low as 100 lumens) of any wavelength other than red can cause a statistically significant increase in stress hormones (cortisol), less restorative sleep, and higher long-term risk of cardiac events. Simply put, even if you don’t think a standard night light is affecting you or your child’s sleep, it is, among other imperceptible nefarious effects. You might reasonably think, then, that so long as it’s a red light, you’re fine. However, any light, even red, that is sufficiently bright, will interfere with sleep and melatonin. Thus, both the wavelength amplitude and intensity matter when choosing a truly safe nightlight that is intended to be kept on all night long. Total darkness is best, but when that’s not possible, dim red light is the next best option.I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the very features that make this a fantastic night light (red and very dim) are also the same features that many would complain about if trying to use it for any other purpose where high visibility is necessary or desired. I don’t find that a negative, as it does what its intended to do and it does it very well. There are plenty of other options out there for higher visual acuity tasks.TL;DR: This brand of night light is, to date in my lifetime, the ONLY night light I have encountered, straight out of the box, that is dim enough and deep red enough to be truly safe to sleep with it on all night long.

got two of the items, arrived as scheduled and both worked when plugged in. we are now getting better sleep at night

I LOVE these! True red light, not just red light bulbs. I have them in all the bathrooms to avoid turning on the lights on in the middle of the night. They look great and are an excellent value for the cost. I like the dark sensor; it automatically turns on and off, and you can adjust the brightness of the light. I give a set of these to my clients when I first start working with them. Good quality sleep is essential in healing!

Type B Crunchy Mom approved! For the price, these lights are amazing! There are 3 dimming settings depending on how bright you would like them to be. I have one in my 6 year old bedroom and one in his bathroom. We love the calming mood it sets! Will be purchasing more for the rest of the house.

These were fine, but I ended up returning them. They were a bit expensive, and even with two of them, there wasn't enough red light in the room.

No clue if it really works or if it's the power of suggestion, but my wife is sleeping most of the night through now. I don't care whichever way, it is helping her sleep. And now I am sleeping most of the night.
