THE BEST!
This tool is the best for getting pallets apart without splitting the boards.

Yes - I would - buy it again, but so far it's tough enough I doubt I'll need to
Assembly was easy, use of the tool is pretty straight forward and pretty easy... depending on type of wood and size. (W oak vs R oak, 1x4 vs 2x4 etc). I've abused mine (2x8, 2x10 machine transport pallets) and has not bend, survived things falling on it, so much more durable than the picture suggests. Of course this means it is heavy but not all that, if it an 'all day' usage (I always bring my ibuprofen).User comment: Spacing is different on almost every pallet. I have found it easier/leverage/stability to do the first 2 outermost boards first then work toward the middle. Also do the outer rails (L & R 2x4's) first then the middle.Sometimes you will need to remove the wings, I replaced the cotter pin with a small (trailer) hitch pin clip style clip. Those wings are very handy and lesson breakage, if your just doing "fire wood"....

Best pallet tool ever
What an amazing tool I don’t know why it took me so long to buy one!! A little heavy but makes it so easy to take pallets apart!! Takes about 20 mins to take a pallet apart so amazing

Excessive force required for assembly.
The holes did not line up well. I busted the block of wood I was trying to use to prevent banging directly on the metal to force the pipes together. Got one bolt through with forced alignment. Second bolt would not go through without tapping the bolt which crushed the threads a little. I will need to replace this bolt a tried to "help" through the holes. Support was responsive in attempting to help and offered to help with this replacement but the manufacturing process leaves a little to be desired.I haven't tried to test use yet.

Awesome Pallet Buster
Highly recommended. Needs a long 1 inch pipe. Excellent quality and does its job.

1" Black Pipe, grind/cut off the threads, good to go (handle-free)
The socket was slightly out of round, but nothing that a bit of repeated force and a properly sized pipe couldn't fix. This breaker works perfect with 1" Steel or Black pipe, local from HD/Lowes/Store. It'll cost you in 2024 at least 25$ for that length, so take it as you will.I did use a thinner pipe that worked on some pallets, but eventually bent due to very stiff/swollen boards and nails. I swapped to the thicker and may end up dropping a piece of 3/4" inside to move the bend radius upwards somewhat.Works as described- the pivoting pieces keep the force in plane, and the boards (once freed) come up quickly.Would (and will) recommend for anyone breaking down any number of pallets. I went from saws and blades to 'this is pretty easy'. Going to test Kids against Lever Arms later and see who wins.

2 pallets in and unusable....
I was so excited to get this and break down some high quality pallets for a project. I got to my 2nd pallets and the tube was so bent that it wouldn't get the right leverage to pry up. The fork was already on the ground so I couldn't even pull nails out with it because I couldn't get under the nail head anymore. If you get this make sure you reinforce that tube iron where the forks are. Not sure how ill get this apart to return it. Might need to dull some blades and just chop it
