This tracker arrived promptly and was very easy to install in my car. I changed the terminals on the wiring loom for crimp ring terminals to suit the hidden location where I installed it.Once I'd connected it, I took a 10-minute drive then registered it online, which showed that it had become active immediately. Note, however, that this model does not have the two indicator LEDs described in the supplied setup leaflet for the FMT100.The app was unavailable on Google Play at the time, but a call to Customer Services soon sorted that out and I received an email link to download it. Once the app was installed, it worked perfectly and gives me various setup options, detailed tracking, geofencing options, battery voltage reports etc.Customer Services even called me back next day to make sure I was happy and that everything was working OK.It's a great bit of kit and I give it 5 stars because of the quality of Customer Services, even though the instruction leaflet was for an earlier model and the app wasn't immediately available on Google Play.

I recently financed my first car and one of the first steps I chose to do was install a tracker.After searching around for a affordable and easy to install tracker I stumbled across this one.When I recieved the tracker I installed it within a few minutes and went for a quick drive as per the instructions. I was quite pleased to see the online tracking updated pretty quickly and although the tracker only relies on power to run it was able to detect the ignition on/off as well as whether the vehicle is parked. A testament to the underlying tech from Teltonika.Although the tech is reliable and really simple to install it relies on a decent third party service to back it up, in this case TruTrak. After installing on the weekend I were surprised to recieve a curtosey call from TruTrak who called to check if the install went well and if I had any questions.Since then I've had a curtosey call to remind me to top up the tracker credit when it's close to expiry, although in their best interest it still costs them time and labor to make that call and it ensures I don't go a day without active tracking on my vehicle.I'm pleasantly surprised by the level of service I've recieved so far in the past couple of months using the tracker and hope the good service continues. I've performed spot checks to ensure the tracker is functioning as it should and it does.The only realy critique I have for TruTrak is for them to update their website and app, while both certainly do the job quite well it does feel like I've fallen through a portal into the early 2000s and would benefit from some TLC. Some of the features TruTrak offer aren't very obvious until you dig through the settings and would benefit from being more visible to the user. The website has been clearly built with supporting multiple vehicles in mind but can be occasionally cumbersome when you only have one vehicle and have to select it just to view its information, this could be done automatically.To summarise, it's a great and affordable tracker. You don't need any mechanical know-how to install the tracker. 5 minutes of your time and the instruction manual is enough and it works really reliably. TruTraks customer service has been excellent thus far and I look forward to continuing to use the tracker.

Bought not expecting much for price on sale at the time. Wanted something to track my power chair after it went walking while in surgery at hospital recovered but stressed at the time. Well worth the l full price. I will be buying another I’m very happy with information it provides also accuracy has many advantages like geo fencing battery voltage location speed more than happy with purchase.

Less than 5 minutes to install once I'd found a suitable spanner for my car battery. Online setup was pretty easy too. Surprised at what this little box can do, not only monitoring your car's location at all times, but reporting hard acceleration and periodically speed too. If you were not the only driver of your car and wanted to keep check on how others were treating it, this would be great.Reports show details of every journey, both as text and points on a map. Geofencing and low battery alerts come through as emails.Best used via the website on a computer rather than the phone app. Support for exporting data in numerous formats. Clearly this has been designed for business use before being sold to private customers, and that's no bad thing when it comes to thorough reporting.Only downsides are that the website/app features aren't particularly well documented (I believe there are videos) and I couldn't get the POI functionality to work.Teltonoka hardware, which is a reputable brand when it comes to commercial grade cellular modems and routers. I have used them professionally before and they've always been very good quality and reliable.

Very easy set up, except they ask you to install it first before registering it and for (online) registration you need a barcode number that is on the tracker, which you already installed, not sure if something got lost in translation from Chinese or they are high on something, but what that means is that you have to undo what you did, which is not trivial if you installed it properly behind fairings etc. So make sure you note down the barcode number before installing it! The rest of the installation worked remarkably well, the system immediately picked up the device, there was no searching for 4G or other annoying problems, it was flowless, download the app and it works out of the box. Just please get your steps sorted or print the damn barcode on the box not the device itself...

Very easy to connect directly to the battery. Excellent instructions. Installed yesterday. Can see car on map on the App. The cost of less than a fiver a month is excellent value for money. I'm very pleased with this tracker. Will let my friends and family know after a month's use.
