Q: Is this a trailing edge dimmer switch please, for dimmable LEDs?

The info states: "COMPATIBLE WITH LED ...... LAMPS: Thanks to the intelligent trailing edge dimmers having a lower minimum load than leading edge dimmers." This implies to me that it is a trailing edge dimmer. However, the top left of the same page states that it is a leading edge dimmer, as does the 'specifications' pdf. This also states that the dimmer unit will emit a faint buzz. Clicking on the link to the 'user manual'' pdf takes me to Swordfish Paper Trimmers.

Q: Can you still uses this as a 1 gang 1 way switch for bedroom

I would suggest using a different switch BG NBS12 which is a 1 gang 2 way but you can use it as a 1 gang 1 way switch too.

Q: can you use these switches for 1 way as well as 2 way

I have just wired this four gang two way switch for one way operation, the wiring advice states live to common terminal and switched live to L1 terminal however this causes the lights to come on with the switches in the off position and be off in the on position. A continuity test showed that terminal L2 was acting as L! and L1 was acting as L2, so I used L2 for switched live and all is well in the kitchen! Hope this helps.
