I was delighted with this product. it has a rich smooth and creamy consistency. perfect for creating rocks etc. will definatly buy again.

Lovely stuff to experiment with. I'm usually a very detail based artist, I like to control my lines and strokes when creating. However, sometimes it's good to let go a little and experiment with medium :)

I have only used this a few times but so far I really like it. It does have a slightly ick smell but nothing much (use it in a ventilated room or outside maybe?), but other than that I cannot find fault. This is a relatively small jar but it looks like it will last me ages. The paste is not as thick as I expected (I hadn't seen any before), goes on matte, and dries to a matte, almost chalky finish which works perfectly for me.It takes a while to dry, and I find that using this on a primed canvas the evening before it is needed works perfectly.It's affordable and has loads of uses (I am going to try using it with stencils) - definitely worth a try if you enjoy experimenting with your art.

Nice and thick but what a stench! I recommend you do not try to smell it. I used it with a couple of stencils to try it out. The result was alright. You get a minute before it starts drying to wipe off any mistakes. The jar is easy to open unlike my gesso which is a daily struggle. A little goes a long way. Not sure why some people got a runny paste. Wonder if they ordered the gesso by mistake? Mine is nice and thick, like Philadelphia cheese.

Very pleased with this product. I had reservations that it would do that which I wanted it to on my art project, which was the making of a tree stump fairy house. I asked the community first if it would be suitable, and got a couple of positive replies, so went ahead and bought it. I will definitely buy it again when needed, since it has proved it's worth on other art projects also.Many thanks to those in the community that helped me out by replying to my question. :)

well i was very shocked when i recieved this product...pretty sure its ment to be modeling paste. Hmmm it is very thin & liquidy & if i remember right it dont give much dimension either..i mean if you only want a thin not very 3d modelling paste just for small amount of texture..then this would be great for that...i could have just added water & glue to plaster paris n made my own thicker one...oh wait i did ha ha

good quality, holds it shape with stencils and dries quickly. Great for mixed media - good texture

Never used this type of product before, but wanted to add brick effect to a fairy house. Bought along with a stencil. Found it very easy to use and was pleased with result.
