INTRODUCTION TO GENETIC ANALYSIS

Informative, nice illustrations, perfect
The book is very informative I really like this book, but the price is high and may interested people cannot buy this good book. In addition, when I received the book there was a small damage on the book that might be because of the long shipment. I mentioned this because it would help the carrier to take more caution in the shipment. Also, I have a question that can I use sapling plus for this book when I am not a student or not?

Overpriced redundant material
I wouldn’t buy it if I didn’t have to. Maybe if you took the time to write and edit the book properly we would only need a new book every few years instead of every year. Then people could actual trade or sell books reducing the cost of higher education. The whole textbook market is a scam.

Not intuitive
1. Amazon delivered it late, even though it state on 'my orders' that it had been delivered.2. I wanted to buy a textbook to read it now, and I am not given the access to do so. What this buyer's pages doesn't tell you is that you have to apply to a 3rd party website (Saplinglearning.com). As from my limited experience, it is suppose to organize a student's workload by showing what courses that they have applied to and what specific book that they need. This is not bad, however, the main issue is is that it prevents students who want to seek different information from having accessing that diverse information. I am a student who wanted to read about genetics ,this is the book that I will be reading for my next semester, I am interested in it as well as i wanted to be proactive in my learning (covid has limited my outside freedoms). But the website has assumed that I am a first year student, who has not applied for a genetics course. Thus I just wasted $50, and I cannot return this, as it is an access code. I do admit that I am partially responsible for this issue, it specifically says its a single term access code, and I was naive to think that it was a predetermined 15 week time limit.I will state that amazon is more lenient as if one was to rent out a book, they ask for when you want to return the book. This being a superior way to rending E-books.In summary:- 3rd part website is not intuitive and not user friendly- you do not have instant access to that book when the code is given- amazon has a better book rental policy, go for kindle
