No clip and channel can give you STC 56+ - 15 STC points is great. The other numbers are when they also include the drywall, insulation, etc

These are not designed to be used on floors. This should only be used to decouple walls and ceilings.

Q: What size hat channel is this meant for?

If you are using resilient sound clips, then you should be using resilient channel, either double leg or single leg. Does not fit regular hat channel well.
