Tough and sharp!
I wanted a carbide steel option for the Gerber EAB utility knife and this was just the ticket. These blades really hold an edge. And I've now used in 3 different folding utility knives with no problem (fit is great, easy swap for original blades).

Sharpness sustained
First time use on Ram Board several cuts, not 8 hours worth, 1500 sq ft. Used the same side on all Ram Board cuts clean. Would have used 5 regular blades. Worth it to me.

These blades definitely hold an edge longer than your average, run of the mill blade. Worth the extra cost.

I really don't know about the claim of 10x longer, but they most definitely last a lot longer than cheaper blades. Personally I think they're worth the price.
