Q: Can the lids be used in the microwave or will they lose their shape?

When using the lids I don't have them snapped on tight in the microwave. I have them just sitting on top of the bowl so that steam can escape to keep the lid from popping off like a fizzy soda pop. That way the lid keeps the food from spattering all over, and baking on the inside of the microwave oven.

Q: Do the bowls absorb heat - R they cool to touch after contents are heated?

Heat transfers through where contents touch. Handles do not heat up.

Q: I am not familiar with these. Are they useable in a 350 degree oven. Or do you have products that can be used in an oven and microwave? thanks

These are not usable in the oven. Only for Microwave use!!

Q: How many of these are small enough for individual servings, something to reheat leftovers?

4 containers for say left overs or if you want to pack a meal to go. There are 4 smaller containers that hold less for smaller portions. My daughter liked mine so much, she had to have a set when she moved out. They're great for the microwave.
