Three years late but... The correct 5.3 ltr engine has two types of coils depending on the vehicle type. A round one and a square one. They aren't interchangable so make sure you look at them first.

I think not. It is an LS2 replacement.

Q: Does this fit a 2003 mercury 60hp 4 stroke outboard motor?

If that is the original part number on the motor, then it shall fit.
