I have no idea what lenses these two customers are using but they can't be the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM. It does NOT fit this lens. Period.

It fits the lens fine. You can roll the lens in the ring to adjust then tighten. Not sure what your asking.
