Works so far
We bought another brand that didn't turn the light off so got this one to try instead. It works as expected, with about a 10-15 second lag turning off after light shines on the detector. I guess the lag helps if a headlight or something temporarily shines on it. We did need to put in a thinner gasket so it would turn the right amount to face forward in our box. It also sticks out a little in the back so our box isn't quite as tight against the wall as before, which we sealed with caulk. So far so good. This one doesn't have a pivot to aim up or down but we don't need that. The light shield can be used to turn it on sooner as daylight is fading.

Easy to install. Works great.

Works Great
Used this dusk to dawn photocell on a residential security light who’s photocell stopped working. Placed on the inbound power source line and it was not as particular about the direction ghe eye should be facing. Works great.

The photo sensor has a 15 second lag
I returned one photo sensor because I didn't think it was working. They should say something about this on the packaging.
