Quit and functional
Pump quality is excellent and functional. Power is enough for our pond and doesn't disturb the plants too much. Noise level is quite compared to our last pump. Design seems good.

Great Increase in Waterfall Flow
Arrived very quickly and has really provided a tremendous flow over our waterfall. Just plug and play. Has worked great over the summer....hope it continues to perform through the winter.

Broke in 5 months
I liked the price and performance of this waterfall pump but the threaded outlet fitting on the pump completely broke off letting the water recirculating in my skimmer box. I don’t know if there is any warranty on the housing or not? I would have liked better durability and longevity than 5 months, but that’s all I got. If you purchase you probably better oft for the extended warranty, you’ll probably need it

Questionable quality
Impeller shaft sheered in half in under a year with normal use and proper winterization. Of course, the impeller isn’t covered under warranty. Crazy…

It is a good alternative to the more expensive manufacturers
The unit is shaped much like the one I was replacing, which made installation very easy. However, it seems to make a fair bit more actual noise inside the pump vault; so much so that when I sit near the waterfall I can hear the pump itself. That was not the case with the original unit I had from another manufacturer. But it is 1/2 the price so I'm pleased overall.

Pump failed after 2 months. They sent replacement right away.
