Excellent decision to buy!
I never wanted to invest this kind of money into something 'boring' but totally worth it as I play much bigger gigs now at professional level on contract and so my sound needed to mirror that standard... Hence buying it but I honestly wish I had years ago instead of using stupid daisy chains that are rediculously bad for your sound and rig. This is cheaper than most online stores are charging and cheaper than guitar center in the USA where I tend to get my gear a little cheaper since living in Texas from the UK. So I got it ÂŁ205 with free pnp which is cheaper than anywhere else so better value for money. It's super light weight too and compact in size. It's also international which is ideal for me going between the USA and UK so often playing! Easy to use too, didn't come with quite enough cables though so I bought a few extra, it holds 10 but came with 8 links... Lol. Good quality build tooFYI this isn't my board... Lol.... I've been playing with my pedals and tone in studio and just got this voodoo labs thing and took the pics when I was trying stuff out, so it's not a disastrous mess before yall judgeđđ

The best you can get
There are much cheaper pedal power units available, however voodoo lab are the best. Iâve been using these for years. I originally used other brands, which, worked great for a while. Eventually however, the voltage on lower priced units started to fluctuate. How did I know this? Well, if youâre a guitarist that uses pedals, the constant and individual voltage of each input matters. And matters a lot. 40 years ago? I used a 9v daisy chain, going from a wall wart to each of 4 separate pedals. It worked greatâŚ. So I thoughtâŚ. Then someone with a hell of a lot more knowledge than me said, â try the pedals with 4 x 9v batteries and then the daisy chain and âhearâ the difference. He wasnât wrong! At all! However buying 9v batteries all the time ainât good on the walletâŚ.. So here you are looking at these. This Voodoo unit will last for years. (And years đ) itâs got loads of scope for different voltage pedals too, ( unlike other units ) and, fits snuggly and secure underneath a Pedaltrain board ( you have to buy the brackets though for a few pounds ) Buy it. Yes, itâs expensive, however it will be one of the best purchases you make for your effects board. Your pedals deserve the best. Show them some love đ

Does exactly what you'd expect
This works fine. I've had bad experiences with power supplies in the past that just add background noise, and one of theme were advertised to be high quality and grounded supplies but still ended up adding background noise. But this one is perfect, does NOT add any background noise at all. Which for me is a big plus when looking for a pedal power supply.I like the fact that you can hook up an extention to it to power more pedals off it, which I'm yet to get my hands on. The fact that two of the outlets have a variable voltage option, not that I have any pedals that need the extra power.Of course the only down side is the price. I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 if it was a bit more affordable.
