I bought this tabletop easel because I am an artist and do like to travel and do my sketching. Sometimes it's hard for me to find a hard surface, so this seemed perfect. I expected something kind of nice. But this this tabletop easel literally surpassed all of my expectations, a thousand times over.It is truly a work of art.I feel as though this is a gift I gave myself.It looks absolutely gorgeous. It is crafted immaculately. It has hinges and latches that are firmly attached... nothing about this is flimsy.It has a little drawer-nook, that easily fits pens, pencils, small pencil sharpeners, and paper.So perfect.It is strong, and it even has a handle for travel and carrying it. To say that I feel special when using it is an understatement. I cannot believe how nicely made this is. It looks like it has the ability to accept stain and varnish. I probably won't, but maybe on a rainy day when I am bored, I will stain and varnish it. It is highly functional. The little drawer nook pulls out so easily. It was very easy to assemble. The size is perfect for travel. I felt it was of good quality and good value for the money. However, since it's not stained or varnished and is in a raw wood state, I would think the seller would mark the price down from what it is listed as. Obviously, I highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. It's a little small but it's for practice inside or outside with light travel is good. I love it, good material, very useful.

Purchased this for pastel storage and use. All is good. Issue it stated that the separation tabs were adjustable that was wrong they are hot glued in place.

This easel is surprisingly nice and well made. I paid $25 on sale, normally $40. It is a perfect size for use on a table top or on the go. The drawer will keep the brushes nice. The latches operate properly and seem quite sturdy. The wood is smooth and assembled well. The drawer slides with ease. The compactness will make it easy to store when not in use. Purchased for a gift but will purchase another for self use.

Sturdy and just the right size for storing drawing pencils and paintbrushes at my daughter's house for future use when I visit rather than packing supplies from home. I also bought this for the smaller easel since I only work up to 8x10" when I am away from my home studio. The easel gives me a flat surface for drawing and watercolor painting as well as an elevated surface for acrylic painting. The included wooden palette will be useful to keep the pencils and brushes in place in the drawer and to tape down watercolor paper. I use a different type of palette for acrylic painting.I am quite pleased with this purchase.

This was my 6yos biggest Christmas gift, and it holds a lot of supplies. It feels durable enough to handle appropriate use. My 2yo has stepped on it a few times. We obviously stop her from doing it, to avoid the box from breaking, but she is 25lbs & it has held up to her nonsense. It has the carrying handle, which makes it possible for my petite girl to carry. It definitely feels secure, and I don’t anticipate failure.This is the only easel box I found that has drawers that face toward the artist. This is exactly what I wanted for her. I will recommend getting a sheet of plexi-glass to keep in the bottom drawer, so there’s a solid surface to work on, when a smaller canvas is being used.

After a friend introduced me to diamond painting, I realized that though it was going to be entertaining - my neck would be in bad shape after bending over the canvas applying the tiny drills for longer than 20 minutes or so.This easel turned out to work very well - I use Dollar store clips to keep the paper canvas attached to the upright piece while the drawer is perfect for holding the drill stylus, trays and bags of drills. The drawer has a small hasp to keep it closed as does the upright easel if you pick it up by the handleThe easel is a good size for the lap desk I use it on. The one drawback I have found so far is the drawer can get stuck if it’s pulled out or pushed back in at an angle. Probably not an issue at all if you have it on a larger flat surface than the lap desk I’ve been using.
