Q: Any squeeking with ummm.... movement?

Because it's metal on metal, you can spray it with WD-40. That might help with the squeeking

Q: Does it have holes in the frame to accomodate a headboard?

I have this frame and there are no holes for a headboard

Q: Can i buy a stand alone head board or will it not fit right?

I added a stand alone headboard. It looks great.

Q: How can this possibly accomodate a 10" memory foam mattress (manufactured by Zinus) which states that slats have to be no more than 3" apart?

We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. We are tall and weight proportional and this mattress does not slide, move, or sink thru slats. It looks great, clean lines and lots of storage underneath. Five stars from these two senior citizens!! We love it!!
