The lock is a bit tight (which is good cause you dont want water in it) it does come with keys to help with that. Its only a small problem for me cause I have longer nails. Other than that, it fits in my kayak pouch perfectly and has been wonderful.

Great dry box. My son loved uses it on his 4 wheeler.

I bought this for kayaking with my iPhone 16. About the third day of use, I pulled my paddle off my dock accidentally sweeping the box with my iPhone inside into the lake. My initial reaction was that I was going to have to call Diver Dan, the local diver for recovering such things, and pay him the approximately $150 for his retrieval service. To my surprise the box with my iPhone was floating about 6 feet away. I pulled it in with the dastardly paddle and all was good.

Got this box for an outdoors electronics project and can't bring myself to hack into it. It's just too nice.This thing is heavy, solid, and well engineered to take daily abuse. The lock feature is great and works well. Not high security, but gets the job done with no metal parts inside to worry about if it gets wet. Has a small vent hole and o-ring integrated with the latch to equalize pressure as you open it so the suction won't make it hard to open. The silicone liner is well designed and high quality too, it has shock absorption built in with an egg crate style bottom, and corrugated sides. The top of the liner also acts as the gasket seal. The basket in the lid is perfect as well and doubles as shock protection so there's 360 degree coverage. Hinges are beefy and the latch is very solid without using metal hinge pins. The latch has a nice click to it and compresses the watertight gasket without having to fight it open or closed. Someone paid a lot of attention to the little details while getting the main parts just right. You can't beat it for the price.

It seems well made. It is a good size to hold a phone, keys, and couple other things. I wanted to use this in my day pack for when the hiking trail has water crossings. But, even though I read the description, it seems bulkier than I expected. I’ll be saving this for my dry bag when kayaking.

The media could not be loaded. I love the clear so I can see my belongings. Perfect for paddle boarding and keeping my car keys and phone dry. Floats so that’s perfect in case I flip on my board. This would be perfect for keeping your belongings out of the sand at the beach!

I used while paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking. This fell overboard today. To my luck, it friggin barely floated,— possibly due to phone weight.But, this unit works well and kept my things waterproof for the duration of the 10 mins that it was just floating overboard. It also came with a key to lock it.This gave my piece of mind when it comes to protecting my wallet from my $4500 hearing aid, $1200 iphone, $350 car fob 👍🏼I will purchase a separate key chain loop float due to the weight of the container and phone possibly making the container sink more.One con is that this PVC plastic is already kinda of heavy without any thing inside. Besides that….I highly recommend.
