Q: Is it dishwasher safe?

I hand wash this cooker. Haven't tried putting it in a dish washer thinking the handle may get damaged.

Q: Is the metal slug from fusing ?

I'm not sure what you are talking about . I don't see anything on mine and I wash mine by hand. Haven't felt anything that feels like a slug either.

Q: If I put in oven, what would be the max temp without damaging Handel and rubber gasket?

Do not put a pressure cooker in the oven! This would be very dangerous. Perhaps you need a casserole dish or cast-iron skillet. You can not walk away from a pressure cooker unless it is electric with automatic turn off.

Value is damaged within in 2 weeks of use

Hawkins is always been my favorite in cookers but this one i ordered from UAE was the worst.The cooker is unable to hold enough pressure and water starts leaking from the value.I requested for a return but it has been cancelled.
