Great tool
This plug is easy to use. I did not have to go outside to turn off my Christmas lights in the snow! It’s easy to switch control of the plugs and also easy to set up. I downloaded the app onto my phone. I was even able to control it from blocks away from my house.

Working well, replaced an older outdoor plug with this one
This Meross outdoor plug was purchased to replace an older Meross outdoor plug that was 7 years old. We used the old one throughout the year, including for Christmas lights during the our Minnesota winters. It held up well (I thought 7 years was good), so when the old one started to have trouble staying connected to our router, it was an easy decision to move to this newer model (the old one is no longer being sold). We have had it only a couple of weeks, but it was very simply to setup and has been working great - hope it lasts as long as the old one.

Easy to use and perfect for Apple HomeKit
I've used various Meross products for several years. They work flawlessly with Apple HomeKit. You can even just install them directly from HomeKit without giving to use the Meross app. (The only benefit to the Meross app is having access to periodic firmware updates.) The fuel outlet smart plug gives you individual control of each outlet, so you can individually control two devices - one could be an outdoor floodlight, the other could be string lights. It's up to you.

Great quality but a complicated to set up with Alexa
The quality is as pictured - it's really good. However, setup was not fun.Put it this way: I bought an amazon smart plug. I plugged it in, Alexa discovered it automatically, and I was in business. This plug requires you to install a third party app, create an account, set up your plug, and link a skill with Alexa. For me, the linking process kept erroring out on me, to the point I got frustrated, removed the third party app, and decided to return the plug. However, the next day, I reinstalled the app and power cycled my echo, and everything just worked. So...I'm keeping it.You'll see THREE smart plugs in your Alexa app. One for the main device, and one for each plug (there are two). You can manipulate any of them with your Alexa/Echo.Now that it's installed, I'm happy with what I got - Alexa voice control for outdoor patio string lights. But it was a big pain to get it working.

Reliable and easy. Good for Xmas lights.
This is a sturdy, easy to use unit with reliable Alexa integration. Even though it’s only rated for 10 amps or 1250 watts, it uses a higher grade, weather resistant 14 AWG electrical cable rated as SJTW, 105C. The outlets are plugged with thick rubber caps that look like they’ll hold up well. Setup is simple, thanks to well written instructions and a good app. There’s a separate set of instructions for the Homekit users too. It has a handy notch to mount the outlet to the wall (though I wish this was offset so that the screw would be accessible). There’s also a little loop on the strain relief that can serve a similar purpose. The app is great. It does a good job of guiding the setup process and it seems to be written by someone who understands English like a native speaker. Once set up, the app has a couple features that are sometimes overlooked: a countdown timer so that the outlet will automatically turn off after X minutes and an option to turn off the LEDS. Plus, there’s a widget to control devices directly from the homescreen. Also, it has one essential feature that every manufacturer ought to have: a direct link to the manual.Alexa integration works flawlessly and the wifi range seems good. Alexa commands are carried out reliably and with no more than a couple seconds delay. Alexa routines also work well. Each plug can be named and addressed independently. The unit as a whole can also be named. (Hint: use names that sounds distinctly different.) Right now I have the unit about 150’ from an access point, going through half a dozen walls, in a RF congested area and I’ve had zero issues.

Ease of operation
This device was connected up to my outside fountain. With Alexa, I’m able to control the on and off and set timer and everything. This device so far has made it through several rain. Storms here in Atlanta and works fantastic. Fantastic fantastic
