mine did not come with any, i had to order them separately, the book itself is magnetized for eyeshadow pans that are magnetizable

Q: Im assuming I can buy shadows many places. But new to this-can someone give me a few recommendations a lower/average price point to get me started?

I can suggest a few Independent and small brands that have very great prices. Looxi Beauty ( the prices are really low but so many of their shadows are on par with more expensive mid range brands); Pretties For Your Face (they have very good prices and a huge collection of shadows - however check Instagram for good photos and swatches by customers to get the best of their selection- they often have sales so that’s a good time to buy. I also highly recommend the following mid range brands based on quality and their great collections (you can find codes from content creators to get a decent discount from all three of these): Devinah cosmetics, Sydney Grace, Terra Moons. One last recommended ration is Clionadh cosmetics because of how fantastic their offerings are. They have a Stain Glass selection that ranges in price fro $7 to $19 USD. However they also have circle pan shadows that are for about $5 and are extremely fantastic. YouTube and Instagram are great sources for swatches and for further exploring Indie brands for eyeshadows and I recommend you check these out for expanding your knowledge of what is out there and what is the best of the best for your $
