Weslock 14652-3 handleset Spring Latch 2 3/8" Backset

This latch replacement worked perfectly on my 36 year old door. My latch did not have an part no. embedded in it, so was bit of a guess this was going to be right part. Some measurements of the hole spacings would have been helpful, but it eyeballed to the exact part when I held it up to the image on the screen and turned out to be exactly correct. Fit was excellent but the original part had a dead latch as part of the assembly. Fortunately, my door has a dead bolt too.

This is exactly the part needed to prevent me from having to buy a new door as well as all new hardware.None of the current door hardware products available fit the holes in the door that fit the Weslock dimensions so I was looking at a whole new door plus hardware. This new latch fixed the door and saved a lot of anxiety as well as the door and several thousand dollars.
