Fender Gretsch G6298 Case for 16-Inch Electromatic 12-String Models

Although it started out a very tight fit, after a few months, my guitar fits nicely & the case closes easily.

When I first got this case I was angry because I couldn't fit my Gretch electromatic 12 string guitar into it. I was going to return it but I kept thinking about it and figured I didn't try hard enough. Since the case is brand spanking new the fit was EXTREMEMLY tight but with a little wiggling I was able to fit it it. A Guitar should fit snugly and this does. Plenty of padding protects my ax in an excellent fashion. The only drawback is the case with guitar is quite heavy. My guess is forty pounds. grade of: A

Yhis case is listed as designed for the 12 string by Gretsch. The body of the guitar is a really tight fit. This may be a design feature that compresses for a more secure protection. It was a tight fit. Plenty of room for the neck.

I use it to store the guitar.

Fits my Gretsch G5422G-12 like it was designed for it. Which it was. Sturdy case, well padded inside with a nice protective outside. A little heavy.
