Q: Please can you tell me the throughput for connectivity when using pfSense on this hardware?

Under a default configuration of pfSense, this hardware is capable of full wire speed (approximately 930Mbps) throughput from LAN to WAN. Please be aware that different configurations will affect throughput in different ways, but under default you can expect full line rate.

Q: Do you supply the COM cable in the box?

A DB9 - RJ45 COM cable is provided by default for every unit. We also sell a USB to RJ45 COM cable, as many modern computer don't have a DB9 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XC1NBRG

Q: Is PfSense preinstalled?

pfSense is not pre-installed. Any device that is purchased from Amazon does not have an Operating System Installed, however we have several guides on how to install several operating systems available on the Protectli web site.
