Good book for bed time!
Son can't stop asking me to read it for bed. Need to buy the others by this author. Love the concept and style, different and cute.

Cute Story
A great story about lost toys. Fun for our Space and Science Fiction unit!

Another winner from Mini Grey
Mini Grey's delightful illustrations and droll text make this book a winner for readers younger than the "Traction Man" series.

Great book for 3 year old boys.
My son and I really enjoy reading this book together. My only complaint is that it uses the word 'stupid' in a context I'm not crazy about (one toy calls another toy stupid). I don't think of myself as over-protective or a sheltering type of mom, but 'stupid' is an ugly word and I prefer he not hear it on a nightly basis in one of his favorite books. When we do read the book I skip over the word so it's not that big of a deal, until he starts reading himself.

My kids love this book
We had borrowed this book from the library and my kids (ages 2 and 4) wanted to read it so many times that I bought it for them for Christmas. Now it's April and they're still pulling it off the shelf to read. Even as I write this, my son (2) is looking at the picture of the book on the computer screen and yelling "Toys in Space!!"As far as the cowboy's language is concerned, it really doesn't come off as put downs to me. It seems that it's just the way he talks. Gives him some personality. His actions are only positive.

Love it
Despite the previous reviewers objections, I really liked this book. My son loves it too. It's actually one of my favorite recent children's books. The characters are inventive and the illustrations are fantastic. It's the kind of book your child will ask to read over and over and over again (and you won't mind doing it.)

had some sour language for a kids book
I got this for my 3 year old niece for Christmas. It looked fun. She liked it; unfortunately, there was some not so pleasant language in this book that had to be altered when reading it allowed. I thought that was very unnecessary for the type of book it was. Fun story otherwise.
