These look and feel good for the price
I bought these for the price and that they come sans plates as I already had 2 plats to use and these were the same style as the Utebit ones I had purchased a little earlier, but they came with plates and bought 2 extra plates so I can mount 3 plates to my cameras.Reviews of the Fotasy 38mm versions seem to not fit all plates, but the 50mm versions I bought to match the size of the Utebit clamps seem to work fine with whichever plate I have on a camera and the clamps cinch down nicely. The ONLY difference between these and the Utebits were the rubber grip on the clamp knob is a bit different, but the exact same style and they all mount on tripods with their own quick release plates, or my monopod that does not have one, using the standard 1/4/20 mounting screws that came with each head.I even have one of these Fotasy clamps on a GPX clone of the Gorillapod by removing the wedge shaped QR plate and mounting the clamp to that and putting it back on.They all work a treat and had been using my Gorillapod knock off with my GoPro on a filming project. I can't attest to how well they'd hold up to daily use yet, but they do seem sturdy and all that by the extruded aluminum construction all of these have.Moving to Arca Swiss clamps and plates has made mounting/unmounting my cameras on any of them a breeze and it means I can leave the plates permanently mounted to the cameras, no more swapping plates.

Great, but I wish...
...it came with a safety lock in case the clamp loosened accidentally. It hasn't come loose yet but I'm always paranoid that I'm about to bust $5000 worth of gear just because my shirt turned the knob without me knowing. I couldn't find any Arca Swiss clamps that have a safety lock, so more of a complaint for the general product type.

Great quick release
Bought a few of these to put on various tripods and stands. I have matching plates on all my cameras and some lights so I can easily mount them using these. The level is convenient and the knob is easy to adjust

Converted my tripod to Arca-Swiss mount.
This is an inexpensive way of converting a standard tripod to Arca-Swiss. I have a Arca-Swiss compatible plate on my camera (part of Capture Clip mount) - now it mounts straight to the tripod without having to unscrew anything .

great value
Purchased to hold a rifle on tripod. Simple, well made and secure, exactly what I needed

Surprisingly good build quality
Everything feels sturdy and well-built. The screw action is smooth and without hitches. It is capable of pinching quite hard on mounts and fits everything I've tried. The only potential issue I could see happening is the knob is ever so slightly taller than the top edge of the clamps, so if your mount is particularly low profile, it may rub against the bottom of your camera. But most traditional Arca-style mounts should not be this low profile—none of mine were. Something to keep in mind regardless.

Exactly what was ordered
Bought this to serve essentially as an adapter for a tripod mount I am using. The screw base fit my stand and the clamp grabs my ARCA base as advertised. The only recommendation I would have is selling a version with MLOK or Picatinny on the reverse side of the ARCA to give more mounting options.
