Great Nonstick Pan
This 5-quart T-fal sauté pan is a kitchen favorite—deep, truly nonstick, and easy to clean. I love the glass lid and sturdy handle. It’s my go-to for stir-fries, sauces, and one-pan meals. I liked it so much, I bought a second one!

Cooks even, cleans easy
I love the size of this sauté pan- it’s perfect for big meals without feeling bulky. The nonstick coating works great, and the glass lid lets me keep an eye on everything while it cooks. Solid everyday pan!

Most used pan in the kitchen
When we bought a new set of cookware for the learning kitchen, I added this pan to the order., as it matched the set we had purchased, as well as it was the same manufacturer. The thermospot is very handy, as you can tell if the pan is up to heat without overheating and possibly damaging your non-stick surface. This pan is a good size that can handle a family, or in our case a class, a nice well fitting lid rounds out the pan with a vent hole that helps keep the lid from fogging over, and also serves as a good place to insert your temperature probe.I rated the scratch resistance as a four star, though I have not had an issue with this pan, but history will tell that this surface will scratch easier than a stainless steel or iron pan would. This is all in all a good pan, and the most used pan in the kitchen.

Great BIG Pan For a Great Little Price Makes For A Great Value To Me
A lot of my recipes use 2 pounds of ground hamburger or stew meat, and I like to cook in with it some diced onions, peppers, celery, garlic, and so on, depending on what I'm cooking. My old skillets just barely fit all those ingredients, and didn't leave room to stir and flip stuff around for even browning and flavoring, so I decided to get a larger pan, and this is the one I chose. When I received it, there was a small plastic chip broken off where the metal and the handle meet, on the underside. The handle still felt sturdy though, so I just super-glued it back on and then when I was sure it was dried and set, I washed the pan and used it. That's why I dropped it a star on the rating.Other than that though, it worked fabulously for me to deal with the situation I wanted it for, with plenty of room to spare. It's nice and big around, plus deep. Great for all my skillet needs, from the ground round and stew meats, to pork chops, steaks, fried chicken, and more.I now use it at least a few times every week, sometimes more, and it's working out for me just as I'd hoped. I'm not seeing any warping or chipping or flaking or anything like that. It's heavy enough that it lays flat on the burner even with nothing in it, which I like. It indicates to me that it evenly heats the food, and that does seem to be the case from my experience with it.I'm no Julia Childs, so my taste in cookware is at a very basic level - if it works like I want, I'm happy. This does that. I'm sure there are good solid reasons to buy cookware that's MUCH more expensive than this, but it's not what I personally need or want.

simply the best
There is a reason that this is the best selling nonstick pan from amazon. I've used the pan everyday since I got it with no complaints or loss of function. It works perfectly, It heats evenly, the blood stains come out of it with ease, and you can stick it in the oven with the lid on at 350. It is lighter than other T-Fal non-stick pans I've used before, which might make it seem like its going to be less sturdy but it doesn't feel less sturdy when you use it. The lighter frame makes it so much easier to carry the pan with one hand while transferring eggs onto a plate, when using two pans at once to Saute a delicious asparagus tips or even while swinging them around violently in an attempt to defend your family from an onslaught of vicious ravenous squirrels, embattled by their desire to consume all of the asparagus and eggs you have cooked so perfectly. It is described as jumbo meaning it fits a lot and hardly ever spills over. That means that you can bring several cups of water, a small amount of salt and red wine vinegar to rolling boil and poach several eggs at once, without fail making it perfect for eggs benedict. This is the same pan you drunkenly used at 2 am the night before to sautee your leftover bacon mac n cheese with spinach and added milk like an idiot. And even though you could barely stand up and you may or may not have puked inside your roomate's shoe, you still didn't spill it on the oven. Way to go JUMBO SIZE. So while T-fal might sound like the brand name an ambitious fashion designer named tony would use for his exclusive autumn collection, the T-fal Specialty Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Oven Safe Jumbo Cooker Saute Pan with Glass Lid, 5-Quart, Black is anything but. Buy it.
