I had been put off buying Applaws after the recall in 2021. I've since emailed them and they assure me that its made in a different factory and the recall is long in the past. Its completely safe.I had been feeding Encore wet&dry food which is made by the same company as Applaws. Just different branding.This wet food is very reasonably priced. It actually looks like chicken and not brown mush!!! They have lots of different flavoured multipacks. If kitty likes fish more or is a chicken fan. This wet food has them covered!As you probably know....Its only a complimentary food, so it doesn't have all the necessary vitamins and minerals. So you'll need to provide dry food too. 24 cans for £16 was a bargain. It has high quality ingredients and is gentle on sensitive bellies. My rescue boy has stomach and number 2 issues but with this, I have not even needed probiotics.I mix their wet food with their Natures Variety dry food or (Applaws). Twice a day. Quarter of a can each per serving. So it lasts along time.It has rice it in, but thats much better than most other wet food.Our kitties don't ask for much and they give us so much love. The least we can do is make sure they love the food we give them and its healthy enough to keep them well for many many years!Please don't feed friskies, or whiskers or meow mix, type junk food. Bad for teeth. Full of sugar and grain.... Spend a little more. That way they wont waste it and you'll find that its actually cheaper and better to buy a better food. Just my opinion.I am pretty sure your baby , however fussy will take to this food very well. Will be gobbling it all up, dry food as well! My cats are fussy and hate change but they love this food.

Great cat food. No nasties. Fair price. But it is complimentary not complete so have to top up my cats food to make sure she has all she needs. She does love this though so will buy again.

I absolutely love this brand, I usually mix it with cat pâté and some bone broth as a weekly treat and they demolish the lot! Best time to get it is when it’s on offer

This cat food is lovely,my cat has problems with other cat foods but this one she seems to tolerate...the only thing which is wrong is, it's price...works out around a £1:00 a tin...not cheap having a pet now days...I know you could buy a chicken and cook it,which would last a several days...tried that...she wouldn't eat it. This food smells so good I could have it in a sandwich.😁

It's a pity it's not British made. It's a very good cat food and my cat can't get enough of it. The carbon footprint bringing it here must be horrific, I think this does not help an excellent product. The search goes on.

This fills my cats appetite for longer. Love that there is a variety of flavours.

My cat likes food in broth or gravy. This one has too much meat and not enough broth so my cat didn't eat much of it. Just for my cat, I would continue with other brands.

Min katt har varit sjuk och äter dåligt. Men den här älskar han verkligen och tömmer skålen varje gång

Tengo 2 gatas una tiene alergias y hay comidas que no las puede comer, estas latas de caballa y sardinas les encantan a las 2 no dejan nada en el platito lo que pasa que ahora estoy buscando otros sabores (que la gata con alergias pueda comer) para que no se cansen del mismo sabor (en mi caso 24 latitas da por mucho tiempo porque una lata entre las 2 no la acaban). Este alimento es complementario osea se lo doy como snack después de comer o entre comidas mas porque aporta hidratación (también añado un poco de agua encima) Me gusta esta marca porque son muy transparentes con los ingredientes y tmb son de calidad, sin azúcares o otros ingredientes dañinos añadidos 👍🏻
