I got this as it seemed like a quick, easy kit.It is not that.I’m pretty experienced at cross stitching and still had to go back and rip stitches at one point.I also ran out of every green yarn color and had to supplement with my own. Not a big deal for me, just a heads up.It’s a fun kit and a really fun pattern, it is just very much not for a beginner.

Loved the colors and everything, but the thread is terrible to work with. Constantly knotting up

I love this pattern! It is intricate enough to be challenging, but also easy enough for a beginner to complete. It includes only cross stitching and back stitching. There are no other types of stitches, which is good for beginners. It just takes a good amount of time and work to complete. However, I did run out of every color and had to buy more thread. Luckily DMC has just about every color you could ever need. I pretty much always run out of every color with these kits. But for the price, I do not mind supplementing with extra thread. I also had to change the pattern to the right of the wine bottle because I made a mistake and couldn’t fit what they originally had on the pattern. Overall, I love this pattern and will be hanging it in my kitchen!

NOT a beginner kit! If you have someone experienced to show you how to start and how to read the pattern and how to judge what length of floss to use for the number of little symbols on the pattern, and whether you just do the two stitches of Green that go horizontally or do you jump around and do diagonal too so that you use up all the floss you just put through the needle, and to guide you when you have questions because you will.... great - then this may work for you; but if you are a total novice and have only hemmed pants prior to this - this kit is not for you (or me). I've gone through a ton of cross stitch YouTube videos to try to start this the right way, with the right length, as it's fairly confusing with the limited directions included. I am putting this one down and going to HobbyLobby to get an actual beginner kit. Get someone to help you start if you are a beginner - I suspect that would get you past all the frustrations. I hope to come back to this after I learn the basics.

I loved working on this! This was my first "big" cross stitch project (I had done a few smaller ones prior) and it was definitely doable for a beginner. The design is such that if you screw up a few stitches, it won't throw off much. I messed up a few areas in the field and when I finished, you can't even tell. The kit comes with everything you need so you don't need to worry about buying a needle, loom, or thread. There was plenty of extra thread so you more than likely won't run out. If you do, color codes are included so you can always order more. The design fits inside the loom so you don't need to worry about moving the fabric. The kit is especially nice because when you're done, you can reuse the loom to use for future projects!

I love Dimensions embroidery kits; they include the needle, easy to read charts with instructions, the fabric, and many times, the hoops.It's been decades for me, I used to cross-stitch in my youth as a past-time hobby (amongst others). Since then, I've ventured down other creative hobbies, but coming back to embroidery is a big winner.With this pattern, I had to restitch my plant rows (best to stay focused there), and almost went blind back stitching the grapes. It wasn't too big an issue, I just want to give some beginners or return folk like me a heads up, stay focused on those areas and you'll be fine. . In the end, it's worth it, and I'm ready for more.Bravo Dimensions.

Loved this kit. Easy-to-follow instructions, comes with everything you need. They provide more than enough thread so you can add your own creative touch if you want. After I finished the pattern, I went back and added some additional outlines to give some character to the bottom part of the picture. I also decided to do a double thread stitch on the leaves to make them “pop” a little more. This was relaxing and enjoyable to complete, I would definitely recommend!

I am a total beginner at cross stitch, and was a little hesitant to get this because it's a counted pattern. Despite the several times I've miscounted and had to rip it out, I've really enjoyed it. I had to rip one color so many times that I ran out of floss. I contacted the company and they are sending a replacement floss to me.

Packaged accurately with high quality items. I can't wait to stitch it!

I hadn't done cross stitch in years and found this challenging but the pattern is easy to read and the kit is good. It is quite detailed and took me quite a while to finish but it was worth persevering and when framed it made a good present.

Haven’t finished yet but have already run out of certain threads. Easy to do & absorbing.

The frame doesn’t fit .Looks very cheap port qualityWill not recommend or buy it againThere are no needles provided with the kit 😔

Made this for a friend, was fun, came with everything I would need and quality seemed good. Only hard part is finding a frame that works with the picture!
