It took me awhile to get this installed it could have been easier if I knew these three things:1) Remove the plastic optical cable covers! Hey if you don't know they liik like part of the cable!!2)Set PCM audio format on your TV (defaul is bitstream)3)Set PCM on your Digital Output (default is Dolby)After finding and setting these 3 things the box installed no problem.

I’ve bought the 24in soundbar from Tao tronics and I’ve enjoyed it but this soundbar took everything to the next level! I place this one in my living room with my bigger tv in order to fix the issue where the sound from the tv shoots out from behind to the sides instead of forward which it makes it hard to hear. This sound bar fixes everything! The sound shoots forward (obviously) but it also practically engulfs you for a surreal sound experience which is freaking amazing! Did not expect I would get such a surreal experience just from a soundbar alone. The soundbar is made from wood it seems like which makes this soundbar of great quality. Definitely does not feel cheap at all. It has three modes to choose from depending on what you’re listening to you can switch between music, games, or movies and it will adjust the sound to give you a better experience. Every movement can be heard clearly with this and even though there is lots of bass it doesn’t sound muddy at all. The highs don’t sound screechy with this either. This was also incredibly easy to set up. My father who is definitely not a tech genius was able to set the soundbar up and connect his phone via Bluetooth in about ten minutes. (Though he was only able to set up the soundbar so it turns on but couldn’t figure out how to connect the soundbar to the tv so he only set it up half way but you get my point.) there’s only three cables to connect in order to be fully set up so it usually takes less than five minutes. You can also mount the soundbar it comes with the pieces included to mount it on the wall but I havent tried it as I have no need for it. Honestly I don’t think you can really go wrong with any Tao tronics soundbar.

I blast it loud when I am cleaning and enjoy its rich sound when I watch tv. The product was promptly delivered and well-packaged. Thank you!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My husband is crazy about having a great sound system and big TV when he's watching his show, especially Sci-Fi movies or TV Shows.He has a great setup in our living room. 70" 4K TV with full soundsytem.In the mean time, we have a small TV in our bedroom. Once a while when we both tired we watch our shows in our bed room, but the sounds is terrible.We used to have a sounds bar but we move that to the garage when we have a movie night. We set up projector and screen in the garage.After a while my husband got frustrated with our bedroom TV, so for his upcoming birthday I am getting him a soundbar.Looking around and I saw this Taotronic soundbar. The price is right, it has pretty recent Bluetooth connection (4.2) Very compact in size.... and what makes me choose this soundbar is the brand.To be honest I don't know much about sound system, so getting him a sound bar for his birthday is nerve racking then I remember that he has TaoTronic headset and I remember how surprise and happy he was with the sound quality of his headsetSo I took my chance and get him this,II am glad I took a chance to get this. I couldn't wait til his birthday so we tried it right away and he is so happy with the sounds.I tried to capture that in the video attached I am not sure if you can tell.SO much different depth of sounds between the sound bar and the tv speaker.With the TV speaker we can hear the conversation clearly but the background sounds is muffle.This sounds bar has a lot more nuances of the sounds, it;s like having a basic sound system set up in a tiny bar.My husband happy, I am happy ...:)

UPDATE: I'm udating the review because soon after writing my previous review Taotonics' customer service contacted me and after exchanging emails they sent me a newer model (TT-SK15) and it works great. This one the sound is really good. Im loosing my hearing, so I need the volume really loud, and though this is not surround sound, of course, but I have no problem hearing it. This one is a good buy.Had I bought this just for listening to music from my phone, my ratings would be much higher. However, I bought this for a TV that its speaker is no longer working. Some channels you can hear well, as long as there is no outside noise, however for most channels you cant hardly hear it. I do not recommend this soundbar for TV use, the sound is very mediocre.

I needed a speaker for my television and chose this speaker. Everything about this speaker was great. From the easy 5 second installation to the crisp sound, this speaker is an an amazing product!One of the reasons I chose this speaker was because of the wall mount. My TV is mounted on the wall so installing this speaker right below it was one of my needs. This process was easy. All you need is a screwdriver. Next I connected the optical cord from my TV to the speaker. Immediately clear sound came through the speaker. The speaker has several sound profiles you can choose from depending on what kind of audio you want to hear. There's a movie, music, and gaming mode. I set mine to movie mode since I usually just watch things. I change it to music when I'm listening to music.It connects via bluetooth. This is useful for me since I have the ability to pair my phone with it and play music when I want to.It also comes with a remote so you can control the speaker from a distance.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I picked this up for my secondary TV because for the longest time I was using the built in speakers and they just sound so bad compared to my surround sound system I have set up on my main TV. I can't however install a surround sound system up here because it's where the cats live, and they would no doubt chew threw the cords in no time. This speaker sounds great. It's easy to use and comes with the remote and both types of cords you would use to hook it up to the TV. I used the optical cable however I tested the 3.5mm port to make sure it worked as well. It's so easy even my mom tech savvy mom could figure it out, however it might be tricky for someone else to know to switch between the different modes, say for example you use it to stream audio via Bluetooth, if you do t switch it back to optical when you're done you might wonder why you're not getting audio.I ran through several sound tests and I think I like the "movie" setting the best all round so I just leave it on that. After watching some movies with it I do think it is a tremendous value, it is definitely not a 7.1 surround sound system or anything but it will mop the floor with your TV's built in speakers. I do have a "learning" remote so I was able to program the volume up / down to it just by pushing and recording the ir blaster signal, so that worked for me, as I couldn't find a compatible code in my remotes code book. Overall I can say this is an easy recommendation if you just want to upgrade your sound system without breaking the bank.

I was searching for a good quality soundbar to use with my office 40 inch Tv and decided to try this specific product after going through its specification.This soundbar is 32-inch in size and made with good quality plastic material. It comes with all accessories to use this in out of the box status. The initial setup process is easy as it comes with a detailed user manual.This has multiple connections to the TV and I used Bluetooth connection with my 40 inches smart Tv. The Bluetooth connection is easy and stable. After the initial pairing, it automatically pairs when I switch on the Tv. Other than Bluetooth it has RCA and cable connection ability.The most important and likable feature for me is the high base comes with this soundbar and it works perfectly for my movie nights with friends. No freezing or glitches noticed in sounds.The remote that comes with this soundbar is very responsive and provides all controls needed. Since this package comes with wall mounts it was easy job to me to hang this with my smart TV.Overall I am really happy with this product.

Great sounding sound bar. It is a big improvement over the sound from the flatscreen. We can now hear the voices clearly as well as the background sound and music. What a difference!Connectivity is easy. It has BT, aux, and optical. Included are the RCA-aux and optical cables.Its a bit smaller than our previous one and much sleeker and way nicer looking. The buttons for the bar are on the right end and blends in very nicely. The front lights up to indicate it is on, and in which sound mode and how it's connected. The front light will flash when you change the volume.The remote is an IR type. It works well and nicely laid out. It has a mute button, volume +/- and sound mode selection for music, gaming and movie. The sound from the different modes is subtle but when watching a hockey game the voice is more prominent.I used the included optical cable for my set up and it is working very well and sound is clear.I would recommend this sound bar for anyone wanting a minimal setup (no woofer) and clearer sound.

I have been looking for a reasonably priced sound bar after my Sony sound bar no longer worked. The number of Amazon reviews steered me to try the TaoTronics sound bar. The finish and design is very high end. It was very easy to set up in minutes. The remote now comes with batteries which a previous issue with many. The sound is very crisp and clear and volume is no issue. My only disappointment is with the base. My Sony sound bar had a wired sub woofer and gave great base. This unit has no sub woofer which I feel would be a real asset. The remote has no base control like some other. Overall this is a great sound bar for a great price and will meet and satisfy most people’s requirements.

Update: I reached out to the seller, and after they had me trouble shoot a few things, it was realized that the sound bar had malfunctioned. They sent me a replacement at no cost, which arrived within 2 days. While the process did take up a small amount of my time, the service was fantastic. I now have a brand new sound bar for my tv, and it is working perfectly.*************************************************************************************************************************I purchased this for our tv in our bedroom, as the tv speakers in our tv are terrible. It arrived promptly, and I had it set up and attached to the wall in 20 minutes. The sound was excellent.After 3 months of very light use, the sound has begun cutting in and out continuously. If you turn the sound bar off and then back on, it will work great for about a minute, and then begins cutting in and out. As such, it is now useless after only 3 months. I have reached out to the seller, and am waiting a reply.
