Oster CryogenX Detachable Pet Clipper Blade, Size 5F (078919-176-005),Mix

This is a great blade for matted dogs. It can be dangerous in the hands of someone untrained to use it properly, so be very careful if you haven't used one like this before. I lost my last one and am happy I could find another. Oster makes decent blades, so I hope it will last many years to come.

This cutter is a big improvement from the #10 cutter my Oster Golden A5 came with. Works very well on my GoldenDoodle.

These go through my labradoodles hair well and leave her coat a nice length.

Great quality I found that my Oster 76 wasn’t performing optimally. Cleaned throughly The speed wasn’t high enough on my clipper where the blade would cut just fine and then it would stop trimming...really maddening when clipping a doodle.

Love this blade. I just started grooming my dogs because I was spending wayyyy too much money at the groomer, so I’m not a professional, but I can say, this blade is great. It’s perfect for a summer cut on our Maltipoo. His hair takes on more of the poodle characteristics in that it mattes easily with has tight curls. I started out with the 3F (which I love for our goldendoodle) but that didn’t get it quite short enough so I opted with the 5F for the Maltipoo. It keeps his hair long enough that you can’t see pink skin but short enough that is perfect for summer. The F keeps his hair even and fluffy. I’ve read that the F series are more of a finishing blade but this one cuts through the poodle hair just fine on the first go if you’ve bathed and brushed them first. Would 100% reccommend.
