The book was comical gave some insights from his one sided outlook on life. From being a chef to using his two poodles as the pitch for his minor success isn’t as fascinating if you are a dog lover.In a sense he’s a con man and lacks the personal skills he tries to display in this book. He claims that he posted on YT consistently for a period of time (55 days) and gained 5k subscribers. That’s a lie and the reason why he’s your typical salesman. All social media platforms are digital free magazines or billboards. Nothing you want to be seen or ranked highly is going to get that way without a budget.That’s the dark secret that these people aren’t telling us. They’re getting paid to lie. EVERYTHING is PAY 2 PLAY and don’t let him or anybody else convince you otherwise. Remember that the next you are looking at that s__t eatin’ grin in his face.

I like Brian G Johnson. If you're like me and have watched a good number of his YouTube videos than you'll know some of the content of this book already. Brian's quirky personality comes through well in print.Be aware if you want to start a YouTube channel, there is no magic formula for success. It takes hard work and a long time to grow a YouTube channel. At the time I'm writing this the author has 217 videos and 18k subscribers and he's doing everything right in a pretty popular niche.I took off 1 star in my review for book formatting because double-spaced text was used to increase page count. In some places this reads more like a college paper than a professionally edited paperback.

I just finished reading this cover to cover.It is not easy to grow a YouTube Channel from scratch or learn the whole youtube system.Brian lays it out in a plain and easy to understand format.This is not a book by an already successful youtuber that goes back to reverse engineer their success to put out a book about it. Brian started this channel with the goal of figuring out what works from the git go. He figured out what works and he put it in this book.Let me put it to you this way. You can start from scratch and try to figure out what works to grow a youtube channel on your own or you can read this book and use it as a starting point. For less than $20 you are gaining hundreds of man hours worth of insight that no one is sharing at this level.If you are serious about getting into YouTube buy this book and feed a poodle!SIDE NOTE: To the reviewer that was expecting 100K subs and gave this book a 1 start review - Your review is bogus. The book never promised 100K subs. It shows you didn't even read the full cover.

If you want to take your channel to new levels then this book is for you. Brian has done a great job in focusing on the proper steps to give your channel a quick jumpstart. His proven methods will take you step by step to getting likes, getting those to view your entire video and earning them as subscribers. You will learn to analyze the data provided by YouTube, create goals and so much more. He even has a challenge for you. I have learned a great deal by not just reading this guide but by studying it and putting it into action. Needless to say, I highly recommend.

When I ordered this book the kindle version wasn't available, I really wish it had been because there is one huge flaw with this book.The illustrations are not in color, but the colors used in thumbnails etc is refereed to and compared... Absolutely silly.Suggest you put ebook up as Matchbook for free to get that fixed :-)The rest of the book I really like, and this is from someone who actually never seen any of your videos, but I will :-) The book was highly recommended by your friend Nick Nimmin, why I got it.The chapter on playlist was a bit weak, but the rest of the book I did like, even if I had to imagine the colors in the illustrations

Brian is the king of YouTube videos. This is his second book and he is on the money with the uggets delivered here. You should also chek out his first book Trust Funnels. Both of his books offer tons of useful actionable material. Thats the thing I like about Brianis that he delivers tons of actionable material .

I've been interested in starting a career with YouTube for a good while now. But haven't been firm in my beliefs enough to actually start! After reading this book and taking a plethora of notes I now know that it is a sure thing for me! Will narrow down my search for a niche and get started on my own 30 day challenge! I can't wait to implement the strategies outlined in this book and see the results in the months and years ahead! Thanks Brian for such a great read!

Overall Conclusion:If you like Brian's YouTube videos, you will like the style of this book. It is quirky, fun and informative. The content is good, but sometimes a bit repetitive. However, the book feels very expensive at GBP 15.67 due to the poor design. However, I would still recommend it. At the end, you support a great YouTuber.Content:The beginning is a bit slow and feels repetitive at times. However, Brian basically mentions himself that this is his way of making you remember the important things. If you want to get a feeling for the content of the book, watch a few of Brian's YouTube videos. You can probably get most of the information from watching his videos. However, I preferred reading a book at my own pace. I also feel the book is a bit more detailed and it is great for going back and looking stuff up. The last few chapters are by far the most interesting and informative ones.Quality & Layout:The layout looks like a 1:1 Word document import, without any attention to details. There are headings at the bottom of the page with the text starting only on the next page. There are paragraphs describing the colours of thumbnails ... in a black and white book. The font size is very large, suggesting there were some lazy pages added.If this review was helpful, please click the button below.

Rare it it is you can read a book and get it. That it’s not full of self ‘hey look at me’ ....ok so he does a bit, but only as examples. And if you watch his YouTube channel you see he gets results. It’s really interesting to watch his early 2016 youtube stuff, and the still low views (it’s 2018 April at the moment....he started March 2016). Before he got into the swing of larger than life and many more views, as a result of what he shows here. Since the book he now has an online app (paid for) to help you do what he says. I was expecting it to cost the usual £50-£200 a month which such things charge. But no....£5 a month! But he’s got 33k subscribers...so 5x33k..... you dig? (His comment, not mine...the dig bit...). That’s EACH MONTH. In two years. Even a fraction of that is great. Ok, so what he does is perfectly aligned with the platform. But I am already starting to see results so I am happy. And my channel is only a week old and with two videos. Seriously. And I’ve never had results like this on other channels I’ve tried.

OK but really designed to collect advertising revenue. Short articles which can be of help if you want to climb to the top quickly.

This book doesn't just go into the theory of what works , it gives easy to follow action steps to implement it .Only negative : mentions colours in screen shot examples but book is in black and white . Does not effect anything thought
