1 Grumpy Bruce-A Mother Bruce Book: A Counting Board Book (Mother Bruce Series)

We are enjoying the simple counting focus with an interesting and uncommon line of characters. Unfortunately some of the illustrations are a little difficult for tiny readers to differentiate. For example, it's hard to tell there are in fact 4 geece in this picture without mom pointing them out. This will probably improve as our son gets older but something to consider.

I have bought my son a lot of books, and kept waiting for the day that he would finally pick one he liked. He LOVES One Grumpy Bruce! We read it several times a day, and he will flip through the pages himself a few times more. It's an easy read (I already have it memorized), and he already knows when to turn the page (which he loves to do himself). The characters are cute-- the elephants ready to boogie are a personal favorite-- and it really holds his attention. I just came on Amazon to buy more Bruce books! I wish there were more board books, as those are the easiest for him to hold and turn the pages without ripping.

My daughter (14 months old) and I have read this at least 5o times. Each time we enjoy counting the animals on each page and seeing what funny things they are doing for this party. The 'characters' are the same from the the Grumpy Bruce books. The board book has thick board book pages, quality is great and is a nice size to hold while reading to a little one in your lap.

I have been a fan of the Mother Bruce books since the beginning. This is a fun introduction to Bruce and his friends for your little ones. Great Board Book.

This is one of my son's favorite books! (He is 9 months) He enjoys having me count the animals on each page. I love the Mother Bruce series. The illustrations are great!

Bruce is known for being a little grumpy and has a specific preference for social distancing. This board book is a solid quality product with a cute story with beautiful artwork. I bought this to donate to a church nursery.

Seven month old likes this book, I like it too. Great illustrations, fun to read, fun out of the ordinary way to learn counting.

Who doesn't love Bruce. A great Bear story. It arrived on time and in perfect shape. Looking forward to the next Bruce Book.
