I use this to supplement niacin for my ducklings as a preventative measure. I mix a small amount into their water, and they drink it without any issues. It’s water soluble, so there’s no risk of overdosing, which takes the stress out of dosing. I don’t wait for signs of deficiency—I give it to them right away. But in the past, when I’ve had ducklings showing signs of niacin deficiency, I’ve seen noticeable improvement within about two days of using this powder. That’s why I don’t skip it anymore. It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and crucial for healthy development. If you raise ducks, especially fast-growing breeds, this is something you want on hand from day one.

So I got the Kg size for a good price, but I'm not as keen on the form, as it is too powdery, like dealing with powdered sugar. It sticks to measuring spoons and handles, it's just messy. I bought another brand before this and it was more granular, and didn't have these issues. I'll probably use a silver spoon outside of the container I have it in instead of a plastic spoon inside to lessen the mess going forward.

I purchased this for detox with my Infrared Sauna. I've been reading quite a bit about this procedure that it creates a flush then a dilation of the blood vessels. That in conjunction with exercise, sauna, or hot tub, brings about a very deep sweat detoxification. I will attest that this is indeed a very good B3 (Niacin) because I was reading that you should start with 100 to 200 mg, and I went with 100 mg which brought about a very uncomfortable flush. True to a great deal of what I read, the flush came with in 10 minutes (for me) and it was like I was on fire! I then got into an already heated Sauna for 25 minutes and was able to sweat faster and quite a bit more then I usually do. I'm a *hard* sweater, takes a while and I mean sometimes its annoying, I can sit in a sauna that is 135 and I still won't sweat until it reaches approximately 145, then I start to feel sweat droplets trying to form. By the time it reaches 150 - 155 I'm sweating in a good way, but with the Niacin, I was already sweating with the temps in the 130's, so this is good for me. I sauna approximately 1 to 2 times a week, so that's as much as I will use Niacin, and from my research, that's within the minimum guidelines. Apparently, your body will get used to the Niacin, but I will err on the side of caution and lower it to 50 mg next time, and increase the dose if its necessary. Niacin has quite a reputation for other health issues, such as heart and blood vessels, lowers LDL cholesterol, etc. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this Niacin, very fine powder. I used 1/16 which is a bit above 100mg, and next time I'll lower that to 1/32. You can get these tiny measuring spoons on Amazon...they come in a set of 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4.

I will have niacin to last for a good long while. These stuff is of excellent quality. It absorbs very well. Yes, there is a flush and it warms up the skin. Great for the joints and good for hair growth. The dosage is perfect however I tend to split up the dose and take a little through out the day. This Niacin works like a charm. I think it tastes good…slightly tart. I definitely recommend this Niacin.

This is the WORST ever because of the Niacin Flush! They should WARN customers that it causes a crazy itch as well as burning all over my body that I had to get under the cold water for at least 20 minutes and it lasted at least a n hour so it was PURE HELL!! Now, I will get them in capsules so I don't have to get Itchy, Burning body!!

This is the FLUSH niacin, it says so clearly in the title, yet so many people are complaining why are they getting the flush... It might get very uncomfortable if you took a large dose without being accustomed. I bought it to boost hair growth. If you're trying it out for the first time, I'd recommend to keep the dose as low as possible to begin with (I got a decent but mild enough flush with way less than it says on the package), and also to gauge your personal reaction, you will easily work it up if needed. The body gets used to it overtime. I'll switch to topical use in that case and/or cycle it to maintain sensitivity. If you don't want to get the flush, do not buy this product, you need the "no flush niacin" form instead.
