Successful delid I7 7800X running 4.7ghz
Delidded my 7800x successfully would recommend warming the Heat spreader before trying to delid as stated before it softens the silicone making it easier, once you hear the snapping (pop) sound delid has been successful just a side not be very careful when scraping off excess silicone around the cpu, it’s very easy to knock of the micro resistors. Also I didn’t opt to use the liquid metal everyone uses I used thermal grizzly Kryonaut instead because it saves me opening up the cpu to replace the liquid metal which is recommended to be changed every 6-12 months. Not something I want to be doing. So I’m opting for a one time paste and replacing the thermal paste on top of the heat spreader every 12 months of use. Under test Iv dropped on average 10 degrees even under load. I read the liquid metal can drop up to 20 degrees but for me 10 degrees seems optimum enough for me I’m peaking at 77 degrees under max load Running at 4.7ghz 1.210v and around 37-39 degrees idle cooled with fractal s36 AIO

Brilliant bit of kit does exacly what it says
Brilliant and simple had a drop of around 20 c on my setup after I used liquid metal heat compoundA good tip is use a hairdryer to warm the CPU metal side up to soften the gluebefore doing the de-lid and it makes it much easier to remove the intel heat spreaderwould recommend this device 100%

The material could not handle the pressure needed to delid the cpu and the top blew off from the pressure. Don't cheap out and buy a better delided tool

Stabiles Produkt, durchdachtes Konzept, CPU wird allerdings sehr fest in die Platte gedrückt sodass ich etwas auffeilen musste damit es etwas lockerer ist

Fonctionnel et simple
Utilisé pour délid un I7-7800X, il a rempli son rôle. Assez simple à utiliser et d'assez bonne qualité malgré 2,3 défauts apparents et l'absence de mode d'emploi. Chaque élément arrive emballé dans un sachet. Comparabe au rockit cool 99 mais pour moins cher, Je recommande.

Cumple su función.
Me permitió hacer delid sin problemas. La plantilla para volver a colocar el IHS iba muy justa pero también me sirvió.Como nota, también le hice lapping al IHS y al apretar el tornillo que lo sujeta para que se vuelva a pegarse a la placa me marco el cobre, por lo que seria aconsejable poner un trozo de madera o algún tipo de mártir si le haces lapping para que no se raye el IHS.
