Product came as expected, quality appears to be good no defects and it is comfortable. Quality is good for price paid but this is not Top Quality Gear. Overall 5 stars for quality in price range.

The product came in early. They fit very snugly, though I will say that are a little awkward to wear while doing things like typing ( :) ) . they work very well. MY friend has a genuine samurai sword (katana for nonsword fans) and we tested it on this armor piece. The sword left a mark so small that I only noticed it because of the new shadow. So very effective at stopping something like a knife slash or thrust. I do not know how effective it would against handguns and shotguns shells, and other similar things.For the price you can't really beat this awesome piece of hardware. I love it and with everything else I've lately purchased to make my own urban warfare and defense armor (serial killer roaming the area) and also has the added benefit of being relatively concealable under a coat or something of that nature. I love it.

It is biteproof. I can wade into a horde of undead with this and my trusty melee weapons. I am expecting it to survive about a hundred bites, maybe less if feral zombies have broken teeth. I am also expected fend off dogs, but the crushing jaws of larger canines will probably snap my bones. Do not try to use this against crocodiles...For martial arts and common tasks such as riot control, the average hooligan will not harm my arms. If I have to block attacks from baseball-bats, I worry that the pads will only be good for 2 and 1/2 strikes from medium-sized miscreants before my arm takes damage.This is a solid product. It is best to wear some kind of under armor layer or compression fabric beneath this item.

I ordered this Forearm and Elbow guard, and received a Shin/Knee guard. The product was of fine quality and fit, but was not what I ordered.I returned the Shin/Knee guard, and placed another order for the Forearm/Elbow guard.I again received a Shin/Knee guard.I am sure it is not just a mistaken identity. The shin guard I received is obviously not the elbow guard, since it is far too large for the forearm of any human. The forearm/elbow guard should also not have a foot/toe cap attached to the end, and the product I received does.They're great shin/knee guards. But I didn't order shin guards.

I liked it but one of my straps broke on the first day!

Straps could be longer...also would be nice to have something like velcro square included to put on toe of boot preventing foot guard from flipping up and down loosely as I walk.

At almost 55 dollars they are a little expensive but well worth it. I bought the large size ones( i ordered med) but large came. The fore arms section fits well when you are wearing a bdu/long sleeve shirt, and may be uncomfortably tight (just loosen the straps). The elbow section goes halfway up your bicep and the bicep strap doesn't have enough Velcro to close it snugly against my arm,if you have bigger arms you shouldn't have this problem(add more Velcro to the straps). The vinyl looking stuff in the picture is hard plastic (think knee pads) that is very impact resistant, it covers the fore arm on two sides. The insides are very comfortably padded with soft materialCONS- straps need more Velcro-the fore arms are a little tight-the bicep section is really big
