Q: How does the pad attach to the mop? velcro? I have bona kemi pads, but my bona kemi mop broke it's handle. I want to use the old pads with a new mop

The back side of the pad has a pocket on either end that slips over the ends of the mop head-the SB head "folds" to allow this, don't know if the Bona one does or not. Hope this helps!

Q: Can this be used on marble floors?

I do not have marble floors. The pads are very soft. Would not scratch.

Q: Can this be used on fragile boat windows made of lexan or makralon? We want something that won't scratch surfaces?

Great question! It would not be recommended to use the Scotch-Brite(TM) Microfiber Floor Mop Refill on windows of any type. It is intended for use on hardwood floors only. Was them with other floor rags. Hot or cold water but hang them to dry. You don't need to add softener.
