Indigo Herbs Wild Lettuce Tincture 100ml

Only a few years ago, if you had a bad cold and couldn't sleep for the severity of the symptoms, you could easily buy something like Nightnurse, 5ml of which would put you out like a light for a much needed night of rest and recuperation. Unfortunately, because some people abused these kind of medicines, now you can't get anything much stronger than Ibuprofen to relieve your symptoms. Naturally, a lot of people are either allergic to stronger painkillers like Codeine or reluctant to take it or sleeping pills because of their side-effects. Despite the common name of "lettuce opium", the wild lecctuce in this tincture is not an opioid at all, so does not carry these same risks while remaining an effective painkiller and mild sedative. It's done wonders to relieve my symptoms, while recovering from a very bad cold and unable to get any relief otherwise. It's also very good at treating the general wear and tear on my 58 year old body (arthritis etc). All you need to do is exercise ordinary common sense and never exceed the recommended dosage and frequency and only take it when you really need to. Follow these guidelines and wild lettuce is a safe and effective treatment that I can't recommend highly enough.

This is a good prduct to use. Use it slowly with small doses then build up. Not too much though.Its supposed to be better than Morphine.My thought is that it is as good when used wisely

I had a massive tooth infection for a couple of weeks and painkillers did any job only with addition to the wild lettuce tincture. It helps me with milder headaches too. I would definitely like to learn more about the mechanisms behind this herb. Nevertheless, it is a helpful tincture.

I am not one for painkillers i will take a paracetamol maybe once a week i typically go months without any medicine of any kind, but recently have had headaches and found myself taking a couple times a week some paracetamol. Id rather have something Natural and found out about wild lettuce and decided to give it a try this was my first purchase of wild lettuce so i took 1.5 ml waited for an hour and felt no response headache still remained tried 3 ml and still nothing then 6 then 12 so after a few days increasing dosages far beyond what it says on the bottle i had no results at all. Very disappointed.

This was a repeat order. Wild Lettuce really is a soporific - Peter Rabbit would have fallen asleep in Mr McGregor's garden after eating the wild type! It's a great product from a good company. The Tincture comes with a dropper top, and a small measuring cup. Great for Vegans and Vegetarians, unlike the dried herb, which comes in gelatine , so probably Cosher and Halal: what's not to like.

Will up the quantity now I've found a magnifying glass and read their 'how to use' suggestions.Will let you know whether it helps grow back bits of my brain!
