I knew that the box was only meant to house shallower subs (5” depth is what the hifisoundconnection website says) but it was the exact box I needed for my pickup. I knew my subs wouldn’t fit without modification but I was able to modify it and make them fit and the seats still fold down and all no issues. Sounds good and seemed packaged well. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another box from them.

Overall I'm happy with it. The carpet cuts arent the best but the rest of the box is good. (The lines are more obvious in person vs what the picture shows)Feels very sturdy.It is two separate compartments, not one whole box. I don't see that anywhere on the information.I may update after I install it in the next month or so.

Well, I have been looking forward to this arriving, its the last piece to a 3 months of a project install in my f150. Imagine my disappointment when I open up the box to see it cracked and having a hole straight through where they mill out for the magnet. (See the pictures) No holes where found in the cardboard shipping box so it appears that this one was sent from the factory like this. I guess quality assurance was off for the day when they signed off on this one.Also, it really isn't the best craftsmanship. You can see every cut they made in the carpet and glue and wood underneath. I would also like to point out that where they mill out for the magnet of the speaker to give extra depth, that the thickness of the MDF is about a quarter of an inch if not thinner. If the seller responds to my inquiry and sends a replacement, my plan is to cut some round plugs to fit perfectly in their milled out portions to sturdy up the weak spots and glue them in. Also, i will do some sealing around their joints from the inside with wood glue.At the price point I knew it wouldn't be anything absolutely steller, but I did expect it to be whole without holes and I did expect a little better craftsmanship.I have contacted the seller and will update this review accordingly.

Box corner edge was broken when I removed from the shipping box. Kinda disappointing. Box seems well assembled and carpeted nicely. I hope it sounds good with my shallow NVX 12s when I get them installed and amp wired.Update: Installed two 12inch DCV NVX shallow subs, wired both at a 1ohm load to a Pioneer 8601 amp. There is a ton of box flex reverb vibration noises with the bass. I know it's not the subs, it's adjusted correctly with bass know and EQ. At lower bass volume it does not do that, but with low bass songs, it's definitely noticeable.

Box fits well under the rear seat of my F150, it sticks out about an inch and a half, but is a drastic improvement over the kicker compact box that I was using

This box is perfect for my 2011 F150 supercrew. I added a kicker 1200 watt amp and 2 shallow mount Fosgate 12s and I know my truck turn heads. I like the down fire because you feel the bass through your chest!! I also have a Kenwood head unit from best buy. 100 percent happy
