Works great without ground AND neutral wires
This is THE answer to no ground AND no neutral wires in a light switch box. And while installation instructions do ask for hot and load wires to be attached to specific labeled connectors on the switch, a fine reading of the diagrams indicates that the switch works with these wires reversed. So its pretty much fool proof. Words and diagrams in the instructions are clear. Good adjustment settings for sensitivity and how long the light stays on when motion is not sensed. I bought two of these for the price of one switch by a major name which said "installs with your existing wiring," but that means your existing wiring MUST have at least a neutral or a ground wire. BTW, do "shut off the power" before removing and installing a switch. So find the right circuit breaker to trip, and use a power sniffer as a double check. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to not risk injury or death when working with such things.

Best Occupancy Switch
Works perfect and easy installation. Needed this to pass building inspection and required in bathrooms and garage. After trying Decora and other more expensive options that never worked correctly, I finally gave this a try and the wiring is far simpler and doesn't make you use more wire nuts that fill up the box and it's even a little slimmer so it fit perfectly in my tight 1 gang box. Easy to adjust, no ridiculous programming, and worked immediately and consistently. Highly recommend, especially at this price.

range/sensitivity lacking, otherwise great
I tried this in three places... in the basement, in the garage, and in the laundry "nook".It works very well in the laundry nook, because you are right near the sensor when you are working in the area, so it stays on.In the garage, i cranked the range all the way to max, but it struggles to know i am there in most parts of the garage. It seems like there is about a 10' range in front of the sensor, and if you are outside of that, you get stuck in the dark. Same in the basement. You can work around this a little by increasing the timer, so it stays on for 10-15 minutes, because you are more likely to trigger the sensor again in that time frame and re-set the timer, but the tradeoff is that you are wasting more energy. I prefer to set the timer as low as possible, so the light turns off fairly quickly after you leave the room.Going back to the garage example... part of the reason I use a motion sensor in the garage is that i am constantly in and out of there grabbing tools, etc, and am likely to leave the light on when i leave. If I can use a motion sensor that triggers easily and set the time low... like a minute or less, then i can pop in and out of the garage all i want and not worry about leaving the light on. But if i set the time higher to compensate for the lack of range, then i am leaving the light on for 10-15 minutes every time i go in and out of the garage. So as you can see, i have pretty specific wants/needs for my use case, but i can see these working very well for people in a lot of situations... Hopefully this helps you adjust your expectations and/or make an informed decision about this product.

Work perfect on This Old House.
Not all my circuits have a neutral wire, these work perfect on those that donโt.I had previously bought another brand and they wouldnโt work without the neutral wire.I put one in my wifeโs pantry, one in my garage/ shop area, and another in the closet under my stairway. They are holding up and working perfect.

Perfect solution for dimly lit areas that get sporadic traffic
Better than a smart switch in specific applications. For a dark stairway to the basement, open the door and the light comes on. I left it on "test", so the light goes off after about 15-30 seconds, but stays on as long as motion is detected. But the other of the 2 pack in another basement room with a freezer and dry goods storage, another excellent place for a switch like this. Both installs only had a hot wire loop through the switch, so not needing a neutral wire to work was critical. Installation was quick and painless, and I don't have to tell Alexa to turn light on, and then off. First world problem I know, but worth the $ and little bit of time to have things just right.

Fire Hazard
Cannot recommend these to anyone.I bought the two pack of TopGreener PIR Motion Sensor Light Switch. I only needed one for my garage, but I got the two pack because, why not? I'm sure I'll find a use for a second one eventually. My reason for buying these was so that my overhead lights (controlled by my switch and not my garage door opener) could sense when I was pulling my car into the garage, so that I didn't need to keep my overhead on when I was out shopping or whatever. These were fairly easy to install - they use push wire connectors and screws to secure. There is no neutral required, but I have a neutral in my wiring, so I used it. Hot and load are supposedly interchangeable, but I do a fair amount of wiring and know what connects to what, so I connected everything as labeled. Unfortunately, the first unit I installed only worked once or twice before it broke. The light would stay on indefinitely, even if I clicked or held down the power button. Only way I could turn my lights off was cutting the circuit breaker.Sometimes you get a defective unit - I get it. So I used the second one in my two-pack and after powering the circuit back up, it seemed to be working. The PIR motion sensor was turning on and off, the button was working. But after about two minutes of me testing it, the unit began buzzing, and then I saw smoke start to come off the unit. Luckily, I had kept the unit open and was standing right next to my breaker, so no permanent damage done to my home or my wiring, outside of the smell of burnt circuit board.I cannot recommend this to anyone, because I can imagine some poor DIY'er putting this into their wall, seeing the light turn on, and walking away, not knowing that they are about to start an electrical fire.
