The one I bought is the regular one with 3.5mm cables. Build quality is great with thick ear pads. Keeps out regular ambient sounds you might encounter but not if your in a public transport like bus or train. The headphones has bass boost so it does amplify the bass and can drown out other sounds. After a year of use the cable broke on the inside and so only one of the cans worked. Any other headphone and that would have been the end of the story. Luckily this come with detachable cables so i bought a boat braided cable but here's the funny bit i feel the sound quality has improved vastly.

Sound quality and feel on ear seems ok, its not great, plastic quality is pathetic, i am using it with ease in fear of breaking any part. Secondly the cord it came with stop working in few days later i tried to replace it with aftermarket, used couple of cords but they didnt work. 3.5 mm jack seems loose everyting i pluged in

The sound quality of these are not bad, but they SOUND bad. Let me explain. The main downfall of these are it's build quality. You wouldn't expect alot from a 2000 wireless pair of headphones in the first place but this was just disappointing.They might've put most of its cost into the sound and skimped out on the build quality, but in turn that has affected the sound.Firstly, the headphones do not fit nicely; This isn't a head size problem rather the strap on these do not offer enough inward force to ensure a complete seal. I'm left with a TON of outside noise leaking in and a considerably large gap left between the ear cup and my head behind my ears.Secondly, they probably stuffed these with large drivers but it makes the parts inside rattle and shake. This one of its biggest flaws. Whenever there's a drum beat or a little bit of bass, the insides of the ear phones produce a very noticeable and annoying rattling. This is a COMPLETE deal breaker and if you think you can just ignore it, I assure you that you will NOT enjoy your music with these.It also seemed like the high frequencies and treble was coming from the left ear, while the low frequencies came from the right.The Bluetooth connection is pretty fast and I don't see any problem with that. The aux cable does allow for louder music though. But the volume factor goes null since the sound starts to crackle and break up considerably at higher volumes. I honestly did not test the battery life on this as I could not be asked to bear it's sound for that long.The poor build is reminiscent even visually, as the golden portion of the ear cup is hollow.Do not expect ANY noise cancellation from these.Now it is completely possible that I've received a faulty model, but I largely doubt that as a defect in the strap, drivers and a poor build inside the headphones is unlikely.The foam used on it is quite nice but it goes to waste :(I also doubt the legitimacy of the gold plated aux wire connectors.They look good though.

Nu Republic Starboy 2 is a great headphone.Pros:- Headphone is lightweight (185 gm), So you won't feet any strain on ur ears after long use of it.- Build Quality is good with comfortable padding on the ear cuffs and on the top of head.- It look stylish and catchy.- I got no problem in connecting it with Bluetooth.- Battery works for 10-12 hours (depend on ur volume) easily in 2 hours of charging.Cons:- Bass can be improved abit.- Max Volume can also be improved.

Fantastic delivery from Amazon. Loved the product. First product from Nu Republic. Bass was quite good. Surprised to hear the sound quality. That was the good part of the story.Button on the wire stopped working after one month, thought about complaining never got time. Then last month just for a minute or two left speaker stopped working. Thought cable issue, unplugged and plugged it back in. Worked!Did not know it will completely stop working today.So that's what happened, one side speaker is not working.Really disappointed, also the mic quality is bad.Person on the other end not able to hear my voice ever.Amazon asked about battery life in the review, don't know the reason why, cause I received a wired headphone in the first place. There was no bluetooth or wireless capability in the headphone.Review 2 star because as I mentioned in the heading it was a good product for the 3 months it was working!
