Sharp, holds an edge, my go-to knife
This is an excellent knife. I have owned it now for a year and it has served me well on a daily basis. It is sharp, holds and edge, is easy to sharpen when needed and it is comfortable to use. I did add some varnish to the handle as the wood handle finish was quite thin, if at all. I recommend it.

Great knife and surprised me how solid its performed
Iv been a chef for 12 years, 5 of them in sushi and at a very high level. Great price for what is a solid little knife, it wont hold an edge all day but will go right back to razor sharp quickly. Perfect for anyone new, to learn how to sharpen and maintain a knife at low risk, or anyone serious who needs something that works but cant drop $120 on a miyabi utility. I did not think i would love this as much as i have.

Nice
Beautiful and sharp, but a but difficult to use as a paring knife. Takes some practice.

Very nice knife for intended purpose and more
I specifically got this knife for deboning chicken. Given how much I've cooked this year with lockdowns and stuff being closed I find myself deboning at least a couple whole chickens or pre-packed chicken legs a couple times a week. My larger knifes were a bit unwieldy for this to me and being a lefty while I'm interested in a honosuke finding an inexpensive one has eluded me. Knife came sharp out of the box and the handle while not octagonal fits my hand fine for the price. Stainless means I can be a bit more lax with care for this knife and I find myself also using it for cutting smaller items, think garlic, ginger, tumeric, shallots... You get the idea. As always you can spend less or a bit to a lot more for a petty knife but for the money this isn't a bad option if you are interested in an inexpensive option. And sorry for the bad pic I just couldn't get my phone to take a decent picture today so yeah.

Great quality for the price
Had this knife for a couple years now and it has held up really great. I sharpen it every now and then and it holds and edge for a while. It definitely is my go to knife for a lot of things. Awesome price too.

Sharper than a light saber - be careful!
This knife is insanely sharp. I tapped my finger gently by accident and got a really bad cut. Use with care. I have hand made Japanese swords and I would compare this knife to them in sharpness and quality. It's awesome.

Handle already cracked.
Knife has nice blade, but handle is made out of cheap wood. I had to patch it and and cover with varnish.
