Reminds me of home.
Growing up every Easter and Christmas my Mom made poppyseed and nut rolls. This reminds me of those wonderful traditions. Now I can have them anytime. Not too sweet and a delicious raised dough. Love the poppyseed and the nut.

Tasty history
We used to order these all the time for years. But we have not for some time, because the price went up so high. So for Father’s Day, I ordered one for my husband, he was pleasantly surprised! They are sooo delicious, and we are stuck on the poppy seed. A lot of work goes into making these, and we appreciate them

Brings back childhood memories
Grew up near Strawberry Hill and was so elated that they sell on Amazon! This is a wonderful treat for the holidays and brings back so many memories. As a kid we usually had the traditional walnut povitica, but the poppy seed is my personal favorite. For the effort that goes into making a loaf of povitica (takes at least a day for someone who knows what they’re doing), the price is very reasonable. I encourage everyone to try this very special Kansas City tradition brought here by Croatian immigrants a long time ago. You won’t be disappointed!

Pretty expensive!
They were delicious ordered it for holiday breakfast with coffee. Moist delicious definitely enjoyed them but I’m not sure they were worth $40.
