Compact and Useful 4 in 1 Kitchen Spiralizing and Cutting Tool!
This is a nice quality reasonably priced compact and very useful 4-in-1 Kitchen Spiraling and Cutting Tool.I like how compact in size it is. All the blades, pieces for cleaning, and instructional booklet fit into the bottom base with the top on when not in use. The fact I don't have to have loose blades and kitchen tool pieces all over my kitchen frees up my mind and the time to hunt everything down when I want to use it.It's very easy to use with zero difficulty. I am able to swap the blade and pieces in and out all on my own without much force. The blades are quite sharp but with careful respect for the device and myself, I've never nicked or injured myself in any way.I like using this for cutting up onions, tomatoes, potatoes, radishes, and pickles. The spiral feature is perfect for zoodles which usually are of the zucchini and carrots persuasion that goes into some of my favorite delicious Asian inspired dishes and stir-fries. My kids love when we do specialized veggies which we often fry up to become crispy healthy chip snacks.Cleaning this is required by hand and not the dishwasher. The tools for and easy clean are located at the inner top of the lid. The pieces for cleaning is excellent for getting things like onions out of the upper grooves. It has proved extremely helpful and leaves nothing behind.Overall, using this has cut down my prep in half the time. I always bring this out for my chili, taco, pizza, salsa, and Asian heavy vegetable dishes. It's perfect for large meals for my family of five and when making meals for a crowd. While I don't expect it to last forever, I know it'll last awhile since it's so sharp and the plastic material is quite durable won't crack or chip easily. Recommended!

Really reduces prep time
I love this slicer/chopper/spiralizer. It makes very short work of prepping vegetables for salads, or cooking. I have a dish that I make that requires 8-10 large potatoes, and a couple of onions. Using this chopper, I can cut that many potatoes and onions into evenly sized pieces in about 20 minutes. It also cuts squash, cucumbers, carrots, and celery, just to name a few. There are a few things that it doesn't cut well, like tomatoes and avocados, and cheese. They are too soft and end up getting squished. The blades are very sharp, so be sure to keep your fingers out of the way when using them, and be careful when handling them. They are dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup a breeze.

Love this chopper - but it doesn't go very fine
I HATE chopping onions so I was super excited when I saw this slicer! It comes with four different, interchangeable blades. It is very easy to use and chops things very quickly! The title says that it's a cheese grater as well; but I have not found that to be true. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if the description is just incorrect? It is GREAT for dicing things like onions, zucchini, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, etc. I cut up potatoes for homemade french fries and they turned out great! If you like the onions super small, then you may not be happy with this though. I have attached a picture of onions that I chopped with the smallest blades. The best part about it is it collects the diced items in an attached container that is dishwasher safe making clean up a breeze! The blades are VERY sharp and the first time I tried to change out the blades, I cut myself. It was a pretty deep cut and painful. Other than that, I love it!Pro's- 4 interchangeable blades- Sharp blades and easy to use- Collects food into dishwasher safe container making clean up super easy- Blades store nicely in containerCons- Blades are not dishwasher safe- Difficult to change blades - cut myself the first time- If you want finely diced items, this is not for you!

Good if you don't have good knife skills, otherwise faster and easier with a knife and mandoline.
This chopper does pretty much what it says, but I suggest you ask yourself a few questions before you add this to your kitchen.First, let's talk about the actual build. The housing IS well built and strong. The receiving tray is heavy plastic and food-safe. The blades on the dicer and slicer are not especially sharp. I have owned similar machines from Europe that require very careful handling due to their sharpness, but not this one.The spiralizer wheels for hand spiralizing are a somewhat useful feature, but you are going to get tired of twisting if you want to make a bowlful of Zoodles (Zucchini noodles).According to the Amazon page for the product, the description says it is dishwasher safe. HOWEVER, the actual user manual states the following exactly: "This slicer can only be hand washing, can not be used in dishwasher machine".The parts are removable for cleaning, but you will need the cleaning brush to dig trapped food out of the crossed blades. The pusher top piece can also be removed for cleaning and upon removal, a tool is found behind the pusher that allows for better cleaning of that piece. The instructions for the unit are extremely basic, so you'll have to figure out some things for yourself.QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF:Will this speed up my food prep?Well maybe, IF you do not have appropriate knife skills to do the same job, OR if you are dicing some veggies in large amounts for either immediate use or for storage. Disassembling the unit and then handwashing and drying takes time, and due to food safety, it must be done after every use. You STILL have to use a knife to prepare onions, for example, in order to get the machine to dice into the small bits that are reflected in the advertising pictures. Is there a better option? It would be a MUCH faster process to learn basic knife and cutting skills, and not have to deal with changing components and then time to clean and dry the machine. The addition of a mandoline to your kitchen tools will also speed slicing things like cucumbers and carrots without having a bunch of pieces to clean. Additionally, a good mandoline has adjustable thickness settings to get just the size of slices you want. This machine does not have that capability. Finally, the only thing the machine does that you must have a different type of unit as an alternative is spiralizing. If you want to spiralize though, there are inexpensive manual or spinning handle spiralizers available everywhere including Amazon.I gave this three stars because it is OK, but not great, and there are better, faster, and easier ways to do the same things that this unit does. Once you have good knife skills, this unit will collect dust in your cabinets. Really. Bon Appetit!
