SDANTPF Vehicle Specific Fender Bracket Antenna Mount (No Holes to Drill) for Ford Trucks

Heavier gauge metal
If the gauge of the metal was a little heavier it would perform better. With a heavy spring they bend easy

Flimsy at Best
This can't even handle a 41 inch dual-band mobile antenna. I contacted Comet and was told "...the SDANTPF bracket is the tallest of all the brackets so it does have the opportunity to flex more than the shorter brackets." It flexes more than all of their other fender-mount brackets due to its height. My lip mount Diamond K400 lip/ trunk/ door mount while mounted to the hood right next to the Comet mount with the same antenna on it allows about 10% of the flex that this mount allows. It's almost unacceptable for any off-road travel to areas where you might want the benefit of a 2M/ 70CM radio for emergency communications.

Works great on my truck
Bought for my 2005 Ford F350 CCSB to use with a Browning antenna and Yaesu FT-8800R VHF/UHF amateur radio. Great fitment, didn't need to bend it, only touches fender where it mounts, doesn't touch the hood.
