I love these tins. There is no visible seam that I can find. The lid fits tightly. I am able to put in 12 -14 round tea bags in each one.The ceramic touch on top is very pretty and looks almost like jade.

Not nearly the size I was expecting! I bought the 4 oz canisters to put in my 3.5oz of matcha powder I bought and it didn’t all fit! Advertised as for storing tea and it did not store as much as it claimed. Wish I’d seen the review that says this was actually referring to wet vs dry oz. very disappointed.Company says they do not employ a uniform unit of measurement because it can be used for different things so the numbers actually mean nothing. Seller also continues to ask me for a review after leaving twice

One of the two 7.3oz canisters has several gouges both inside and out. I am returning for replacement hoping the next ones come in better conditions.Also note, there is NO rubber gasket or ring on these, pure metal on metal threads to seal.Update: replacement canisters also had internal damage and metal flaking off.

I had a Tightvac which served for only a year before it failed, this was purchased as a replacement because I needed something to store tea in a low oxygen environment. These two canisters are more on the substantial side rather than light (and that is much better against air pressure cracks where Tightvacs break). The material is all meta, and the caps screw on and off rather tightly. The canisters probably can hold two to six ounces of tea depending on how tightly packed (so more than enough for a couple of days if drinking at every opportunity). The screw top also does not leak material, and they can be cleaned with a standard bottle brush.

I like these tea cannisters, but I"m not exactly sure how they measured this because it's a bit off. It seems they took they space where the lid closes as part of the dimensions, but you can't even fill the container to that level when it's open because it's too small and the tea falls out over the side. That's my only qualm about this product. Besides that, I like that it's compact, it closes tight, great for travel. On the outside of the container, I put a little sticker, and it sticks well to the container.

I wanted to be able to drink loose leaf tea at my office but ever since Teavana essentially shut down I haven't looked for tea storage. These tea tins ended up being exactly what I wanted. They are well made, good finish (I washed with hot water and dish soap -- the finished remained perfect), very durable and look great. I plan on buying another set to have even more tea on hand!

Fyi not all of the reviews on this product are for the same size or color. I purchased the four 5.3 oz in stainless. They seem well made however if you want to put in more than two ounces of loose leaf tea be prepared to turn it into powder. To small might be good for spices

Very nice looking set but very small containers. I thought that they were supposed to be two ounces each, but there is no way that I can put two ounces of tea into these containers
