ESAB list the ESAB W4014450 pedal as being required for the 210 EMP. This pedal list for $325. The SSC pedal you're looking at here appears to be THE EXACT SAME PEDAL! Except, you get it for $125 less.The pedal has worked for me- I can't blame my terrible TIG welding on it. I am new to TIG so I don't know if I would fully recognize any subtle faults. It seems to do what you expect it to do. It's hefty and doesn't travel under your foot. SSC is a very reputable brand. Made in the USA. I feel good about it and have used it enough that I think I would know if there was going to be a "gotchya" moment. Highly recommend.

Fits the ESAB Rogue 180i, but I think was designed for the higher level TIG welders. (Rebel?) Item exactly as described and packaged well. Would do business with again.

This works just as it should with the ESAB rebel EMP 215 ic. Only used it a few times at this point, so I'll update the review in a few months.

I am new to TIG welding, so during the pandemic, I decided to give it a whirl on my ESAB Rebel 215ic. For whatever reason, I struggled with the Lift Start. Once I was moving, I was good. You have to press the tungsten to the metal, hold the button, lift up 1/8" and start moving. I wound up dipping the tungsten back into the puddle more times than I'd like to admit once the arc lit. I can see where the torch button would be useful when TIG welding out of position. I decided I wanted to try this with a pedal, everyone else has a pedal, and do beautiful TIG welds, so why not me?What I did not realize was whether you have a Pedal or the Torch Button, the ESAB Rebel 215 is still a lift start machine. I had hoped the pedal was going to override that, and just fire up the torch when I step on the pedal, it does not. Touch the tungsten to the steel, press the pedal, lift, and get moving.With that said, I found it far easier to perform the lift start with the pedal than with the torch button. My foot is planted on the pedal, it is easier to hold the torch ignoring the pedal, all I do is lift and go. I still have a lot to learn, but this pedal definitely improved my form.This pedal seems to be of good quality. It definitely works with the ESAB Rebel 215 ic.
