What I thought was going to be a great deal on a replacement battery for my laptop instead became a clear case of you get what you pay for. Not once has this battery held a full charge, and the maximum percentage charged that the battery stops at before no longer charging (according to my laptop's battery meter) continues to decrease. For example, my meter right now reads "58% available (plugged in, not charging)". At first I thought it was just a fluke, and that once I ran the battery completely down before re-charging it, it would charge fully. Wrong. It does not even fully charge with my laptop turned off. If one is in need of a replacement battery for a low price, this will do the trick for the short term as it does fit my Dell laptop. However, it is definitely not a long term solution as I will need to replace this battery before much longer. I am very disappointed in this purchase and will not be purchasing another one of these in the future.

In the beginning, it was very good and I got about 3 and a half hours (compared to 2 hours after the original battery deteriorated). Now, it's been 2 months and the wear level of 33% compared to 30% from the original dell battery after 2 years. I wonder if it's only mine because I don't see that anyone else has had this problem. But I was definitely satisfied with it in the beginning and it charges really fast too!

Just received this battery: It fits nicely to my Dell Inspiron 15R (5520). Tested with hardware testing software, full capacity is 4800 mAh (rather than 5200 mAh as claimed in the description) and arrived with 5% capacity loss (which is fine).

Battery arrived charged and worked great!

Purchased in April to replace OEM, 6 months later I am looking at having to purchase another replacement. I am going to either try Dell or another company. Would not buy again.

This did not work with computer because the BIOS was outdated but it was easily returned and got full credit very fast. It was the right battery but computer was outdated. The customer svc was great and I would try again if I can computer fixed.

Bough.t this laptop battery less than 6 months ago. Never lasted as long as the original when it was new but would hold a charge at least an hour to hour and a half. But now won't take a charge at all. As soon as you unplug the charger the computer dies.

I've had the battery for nearly 3 months now. It works great, the capacity is very close to the original dell battery. i have the dell inspiron 15r. well worth the price.
